  1. You either clearly don't live in the city or never go outside your house. Nothing aside from the sports franchises is remotely true. And yeah, big deal we get a lot of traffic lol.
  2. It's crazy how he went from out of shape and barely cracking 90 mph to being able to dial it up to 95 when he needs to.
  3. If what the parenthesis show are the number of plays in each category, then it would appear that Cozart has had about 50 more routine plays while Simmons has had 14 more impossible plays.
  4. Did you just suggest moving Adam Lind BACK to the OF? Mods, please take care of this.
  5. His slides are top-notch lol, he goes all out on them.
  6. He's been K'ing guys at absurd rates lately, it seems like 2 out of every 3 batters goes down swinging; key word swinging, as his SwStr% this year has bounced to a career high of 15.6%. Guy is downright filthy right now.
  7. Simmons: http://i.gyazo.com/e15ec9fd521999b50385172dd928a088.png Cozart: http://i.gyazo.com/af866c8ea06e6de8e04512ac9cecda76.png So not only does Simmons convert about the same amount (if not more) of plays he's expected to, he also makes the much more difficult plays a lot more often.
  8. The transfer and release on that play is sick! Also, wtf is with Walden's delivery? How does a guy that pitches like that only walk around 4 per 9?
  9. http://m.mlb.com/video/v35716587/chccin-soler-blasts-a-homer-in-first-career-atbat/?c_id=mlb The sound at around 1:00, God damn!
  10. What's wrong with Cecil? At least he managed to make a career out of the bullpen, not all starters stick.
  11. The players are supposed to be good offensively because the positional adjustment makes players lose a lot of value on defense, so it's generally a position where you can put butchers in because it's easier to play (see: Matt Holliday), not that there are exceptions, like Alex Gordon and Brett Gardner, and even those guys are above average offensive players.
  12. Also, did they show Ortiz bear-hugging Kawasaki again? That was hilarious, he wouldn't let go of him.
  13. This was a great game to be at. Stroman was pretty much cruising the whole game, it seemed like he didn't even allow a flyball for the first 3 or 4 innings. Valencia's shot was gone off the bat, really easy to tell from my view. The atmosphere in the game wasn't the greatest at the beginning, but it was somewhat windy and I think people were cold, it really started to fire up right after Edwin's leadoff double. Cecil was dominating, awesome to see. LOL @ David Ross. This game brings my record to 4-1 while attending games on the season, 2-0 with Stroman on the mound.
  14. Did the board just have a minor collapse or was that just me?
  15. Bautista had like 3 warning track outs as well lol.

Why does the NHL keep trying to have more teams in hot as s*** places? Makes no sense.
  18. If what the article says is true then that's awesome.
  19. Raptors for the winter, it's a win-win.
