  1. It's We: The North. But you can't put colons on hashtags.
  2. Mirotic is torching us.
  3. Interesting choice of words.
  4. If anything, his poor swinging strike as a reliever should be even more concerning as a starter. In relief he can afford to throw a little bit faster and doesn't have to face the same hitters for a second time.
  5. Donaldson was originally a catcher. He converted to 3B.
  6. Wow, Evan Gattis is an above average framer, didn't expect that. An interesting thing to wonder is how many of these guys on both ends of the spectrum are aware of the importance of framing pitches. We know guys like Lucroy, Martin, the Molinas etc. are all guys who take pride in their framing; but then you have good overall defensive catchers like Sal Perez or Christian Bethancourt who have probably never been told to attempt to receive the ball better because they excel in other areas of catching. Heck, even Arencibia was once an awful framer before someone suggested to work on that aspect and now he's above-average.
  7. Josh Donaldson is a better framer than Navarro and Salvador Perez. I think we may have just found our backup catcher.
  8. JV with 15/15, only gets 23 minutes of play. FFS.
  9. Excellent idea taking out your best player on the floor.
  10. >Jonas Valanciunas playing like a monster >Team struggling to make shots >Don't give JV the ball

  12. He's a top 10 catcher (lol) and entering his age 25 season. He's highly overrated, but still a valuable asset.
  13. He's so good at everything else that he's probably never been told to try framing techniques. I think that's also a big reason why many, myself included at some point, just automatically assume he's a good framer.
  14. I've never even opened the non-fangraphs links. What would be the point?
  15. The current stadium is in the perfect position. It might need a bit of remodeling, but there's no reason to build a new one.
  16. This is an excellent deal for the Marlins. Yelich is a stud.

  19. ??? He posted the information on the fangraphs link that I posted, which is free to all.
  20. I'm sure many of us who peruse fangraphs have already read it.
  21. Lawrie's only 6 feet, care to explain him? Inb4 Lawrie isn't white.
  22. Ugh, they're trying to make that slogan be a thing.
  23. Holy s*** what a wall of text. Could have just posted this link: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/evaluating-the-prospects-toronto-blue-jays/
