  1. That's disgusting. Wrapping the gum around the tobacco, gross.
  2. Well hello there Mr. I've Never Played Baseball in my Life.
  3. Actually... http://i.gyazo.com/c6690387fd0fcb296b4ea12f1aa043b9.png
  4. Our catcher has a 130 wRC+. Walking 17% of the time. That's good right?
  5. Sheeit. I'd still say it was a promising start, it was evident that he was done after the groundball single.
  6. So many competitive walks lol. Weak contact for days though.
  7. Sanchez has looked really well today, not a lot of hard contact and save for a few hitters his command has been there. The curve is looking sharp.
  8. You think teams don't ask for good prospects when they deal their best pitchers? There's a very low probablity that if we acquire either of them that Hoffman isn't part of the package going back. I also think you're delusional in thinking that it would be a one-for-one. Easily Hoffman + if not ++
  9. Because we traded two top 50 prospects for an aging knuckleballer who had just put up a career year. Basically the definition of selling high from the Mets and we took the bait. Not saying that d'Arnaud/Syndergaard will both be studs, but I'm sure a lot of people would have preferred to trade for a Price or Latos (yeah I know) rather than Dickey. It's all in terms of value, a lot of people advocated trading Bautista for Profar when the latter looked like a surefire stud, and here we are. Prospects are highly volatile.
  10. That's just how prospects work. Exactly the reason why many should lower their expectations on Hoffman, or there could be a lot of sad people.
  11. If we wanted to compete then it doesn't get much better than trading for Cueto. I would definitely trade Hoffman for Cueto without having second thoughts, and if there is any reasonable chance for an extension then I do that 11/10 times.
  12. What's that thing that the Sox pitcher was called for the other day? It sounds like a walk but the pitch didn't count and the runners moved up...so weird.
  13. Travis (2pts) - Jonn Donaldson (1pt) - Deadpool, S33n Bautista (1pt) - Candy Maldonado, Dylan E Rex (2pts) - Atothe, JFaS, GD, jays4life19, Angrioter, vdub Saunders (5pts) - o2, Frenchsoup, Condor13 Pillar (5pts) - LetTheBallfly Dalton "f***IN" Pompey (4pts) - Spanky99 Thole (7pts) - Goins (7pts) - Orgfiller Bench (8pts) -
  14. Okay you caught me, I'm on android and it's really easy to copy/paste, I was just lazy and on the move. Truth is a lot of the time I do copy/paste from my phone.
  15. On the mobile device, give me the Bringer of Precipitation please.
  16. Maybe not playing arguably your best player in the whole series isn't a recipe for success?
