    The "Playoffs will be easy to make" is a classic thread from the old board started by the immortal ECJF, which has been made every year in a joking manner after the original thread served as another victim of the ECJF curse. There's really nothing wrong with it.

    IIRC Martin had at least a 1-1.5 WAR advantage over him leading up to the ASG. He's a hacker.

    Travis is easily faster than Goins. Goins is pretty slow and he rates as a below average baserunner while Travis rates as a positive baserunner (both by BsR).

    I've said it before and I'm sticking to it. Travis has really quick hands and moves well too, he's exceptional at turning double plays. Goins looks very smooth out there, which isn't a bad thing, but it makes him look better than he might really be.

    Goins isn't necessarily a better defender. Travis is at least above average at second base.

    No one is hating on Goins. He is what he is, an all-glove guy (with overrated defense IMO) who hits very poorly buts occasionally has a decent day at the plate.

    The Cardinals just make things work. After all aiming your line drives is a skill that not many teams have been able to master.

    Not really a fan of the black font on the home jerseys. I do like the away jerseys though, and the shorts look nice too, I guess.
