    Their defense has had their issues previously, I think a bit of bad luck has also hurt them. They have a good amount of talent on the team. Edit: also horrible production from 3B and CF for most of the season.

    To be fair, it should be noted that being under a very stritct and low budget he probably couldn't aim for any higher even if he wanted to.

    I don't think anyone could have gotten that, he started ranging to his left and stopped when he realized he had no shot at the ball. Even if he keeps going hard and dives he misses the ball by a good 2-3 feet.

    I hope this doesn't sound like an attack, the Braves have the best defensive shorstop in the MLB, arguably one of the best defenders in all of professional baseball. If Andrelton Simmons can't make a tough play then pretty much no one can.
