  1. Man Buxton really likes playing against the Blue Jays.
  2. For what it's worth I've always wanted to retain him. Long-term is a different story since it will probably be too expensive for us.
  3. Donaldson is a man on a mission. We need to retain this guy for next year.
  4. Why is Jeremy Jeffress starting?
  5. Yeah I also inherited the youngest team with a lot of prospects and I gotta tell ya, it's not necessarily as good as it seems. Half of the unestablished young players will flame out epically and the other half are filthy pitcher mud bloods who will break your heart.
  6. Obligatory: https://youtu.be/oZzgAjjuqZM
  7. This was so predictable lmao. Glasnow suxxxxxx Poor BTS
  8. The modern era record was the 2002 A's with 20 wins, the actual (no ties) record is the one the Indians just tied, which is the 1935 Cubs.
  9. So I've received a couple of good offers for Honeywell thus far, still shopping him and won't make anything official until the playoffs conclude, so anyone who hasn't gotten a bid in feel free to do so. Given my upcoming roster crunch, I could package the aforementioned starter along with Franklin Barreto if that helps me package a better centerpiece. You should be aware that both are on the MLB roster so you'd have to deal with that mess.
  10. Man I'd really be just peachy right now picking up waiver trash hoping for s*** to stick if Gibbers hadn't prematurely promoted like 4-5 top 100 prospects.
  11. I might just keep Joe Mauer. Not that it matters, but TIL that he's also an excellent defender at the position, so good for him.
  12. This is going to look really bad for you if Glasnow gets shelled while giving up like 5 walks to 2 strikeouts.
  13. Me too man, he's every stats scout's dream. He's got some great tools obviously, but the prospect sites didn't give him his due.
  14. Hey man you're on a roll, might as well roll out tomorrow's GDT early.
  15. Maile! Machado almost f***ed us, and he did save the game for the O's! Ureña!!!! The youngsters winning the game for us!
  16. Chris Davis just looks horrendous at the plate. I mean sure, he always struck out a lot, but right now it's like he can barely see/hit the ball at all.
  17. Bundy with the classic horseshoe up the ass.
  18. Trout's been kind of good this year despite missing a third of the season. Irl he's 3rd in WAR for position players and he has like anywhere from 100-200 PA less than the guys around him. Pretty decent at this baseball game that guy is.
  19. Hell of a series bro, doesn't get much better than that.
  20. Also, I've been receiving a number of inquiries on Brent Honeywell; I'm a big fan but some of these have been pretty good so I may decide to move him. I more than likely won't accept a deal before the playoffs are done, but you can start getting your early bids in now and we can get a line of communication going, that is if the board reverts to loading a page in under 5 minutes.
  21. Man, when it rains it pours for Teoscar. HR to CF and HR to RF, sweet!
  22. Is the board loading deathly slow for you guys as well? It's impossible to reply to anyone.
  23. The problem is his swing I think. He's got raw power but his swing is geared towards slapping/spraying balls all over the field, not necessarily with authority. It's a hit for average swing.
  24. There exists a distinction between raw power and game power. Clearly Hurl's friend is indicating that the former manifests itself during BP but he has yet to tap into it with consistency during games, not exactly uncommon for a player experiencing their first taste of professional baseball.
