  1. Holy s***! That crack off the bat was beautiful.
  2. Alfonso Marquez the home plate ump, gross.
  3. So what's with Trevor Bauer starting game 1 of the ALDS for the Tribe? Even if you want Kluber ready to go for games 2 and 5, why not Carrasco who is much better?
  4. Hm, fair enough I guess, although the Jays' pitching staff last season was substantially better than the Twins', ours was more "all starters are pretty decent" versus the Twins who are Santana, Berrios and yikes. I mean, Jesus Christ the Orioles started Chris Tillman lmao.
  5. Ervin Santana is like, a fine starter and everything, he's a guy most teams could use in their rotation, but man he's got to be the most disappointing Wild Card game starter in recent memory.
  6. He's only 17...mods!
  7. The impressive thing as well is that Stanton's done it in about 100+ less games than the rest of those guys, while playing the majority in very pitcher friendly Marlins parks.
  8. Could one of you spreadsheet overlords replace Jarrod Dyson for Jason Heyward on my roster, given that it apparently was a valid claim? I most likely won't end up keeping the latter but my team is bad enough that I can consider it. Apologies to z3r0s for being a pain in his ass.
  9. Sent you my roster via PM as well.
  10. Sorry man, I put in the waiver claim on like Saturday and didn't consider that it would go through after playoffs were done. My bad.
  11. He won because of his average and RBI, just ridiculous stuff. Hell Big Papi had more HR and more RBI but he didn't have that elusive .300+ avridge
  12. Man I just realized how much a travesty Morneau's 2006 MVP was. Like holy f***, there were many far more deserving candidates, Mauer his teammate being one of them. The NL had the same issue though I would argue not as egregious. MVP voters are the worst.
  13. I said this earlier in the month, but man when it rains for Teoscar it really pours. Exact same thing happened for him with the Bisons.
  14. Come on, there's no need to downplay Joe Mauer like that. Opinions on boring/exciting are subjective, and while I agree the Twins generally are pretty boring, prime Joe Mauer wasn't. Elite bat control is fun and when it comes from a historically offensively anemic position it's even more exciting, it's not like he was slapping the ball into the ground and hoping to beat it with his speed.
  15. Chris Sale has lost WAR in this outing, narrowing the gap between he and Kluber.
  16. 4 homers!!!
  17. Teoscar! We might be jeopardizing Sale's case at the Cy Young tonight, if ever so slightly. I love it.
  18. I find it difficult to believe Aaron Judge is benefiting from the juiced balls very much. He hits the ball pretty hard.
  19. Andrelton Simmons doing Andrelton Simmons things. https://www.mlb.com/video/angels-retire-altuve-in-rundown/c-1849183283
  20. I really like that deal for both of you guys.
  21. Also, holy s*** Osuna. The Yankees didn't stand a chance.
  22. Classy moment all around. That was one hell of a run Jose, from journeyman to one of the best players in Toronto Blue Jays franchise history. We'll miss seeing him at his best.
  23. Kris Bryant having the quietest 6+ win season. No one seems to talk about him because he had a bit of slow start but he's right up there in the MVP conversation.
