The swing from literally one year to the next was pretty incredible, they went from having a worst in baseball kind of system to being middle of the pack, that's huge while adding guys like Ohtani for nothing, Cozart and Kinsler on reasonable deals to an already decent core featuring the best player in the game.

Well Garcia was topping out at 89-90 as well, it's just about being able to mix your pitches effectively and hit your spots. Same with Estrada.

Man I love how strict Gibby has been with the Pearce/Granderson platoon. And Grandy comes through!

He's probably not the worst hitter in baseball history which is what he looked like last year. Maybe his injury really was holding him back to be a lot worse than he really is. With that said he's obviously not a good hitter but this is great to see, I love his catching abilities.

That's exactly the comp that I had in mind. Different methods of success but the viewing experience is very similar. Crafty, hit their spots and keep hitters off-balance and guessing the entire game.

I love that slow curveball that he's mixing in every now and then. Garcia is so crafty.

Boone is not having a good start to his managerial career.

Command was terrible in the first and he was leaving everything high but he's since regained it and has been much better.

Alford is on the MLB DL and Teoscar will be starting the year there.

The org has a lot of OF depth in part because they acquired Grichuk. Relievers are volatile, Leone could easily be garbage this year even though I'm hoping he isn't.

That get-me-over curve is doing a really nice job at disrupting the Rangers hitters' timing.

Nah I'm fine with giving up a bust and a reliever who had a good year. I'd make that trade every time.
