  1. I find it funny how you believe Yahoo will act rationally, and that we're going to do anything to counteract their dumnness when they do exactly the opposite of what you expect to happen.
  2. He's really just a warm body who has had a couple of seasons with an above average K rate along with a mediocre walk rate, decent velocity. Best case scenario he's around 2015 level and gets flipped for a Jacob Waguespack level prospect or IFA pool money. We basically just had a scare with a bunch of pitchers going down so rather than waste an option on a guy we like just throw Hudson in the 'pen to cover some innings.
  3. You can't even be mad when you lose to a shot like that. Perfect defense from Pascal. Good comeback from the team is encouraging at least, the Hornets were lights out from deep the majority of the game, and then there's that shot lol.
  4. Well it's done with soccer streams, for pretty obvious reasons. It's the largest sport in the world and allowing people to access unpaid streams with ease is bad for business, so it looks like they have some influence and managed to get the principal streams subreddit banned, along with any new ones that pop up and start gaining popularity.
  5. He's a poor man's Kevin Pillar with surprisingly bad baserunning. I wouldn't he say he sucks necessarily.
  6. If Gio Gonzalez had minor league deals as the best he could do, then I'm sure he was more excited about having the chance to join the Yankees than us.
  7. This is why I hate Spring Training.
  8. Probably not, but he might be able to squeeze all the juice out from throwing a single curveball.
  9. Trent Thornton has to be a lock to make the team at this point right? I thought Paulino was close to a lock given the injuries.
  10. Hey, that's two time NBA champion Matt Bonner to you chump.
  11. I don't think anyone posted this, Paulino was optioned to minor league camp. I guess they'll keep trying him out as a starter in AAA then, or his altercation with Giles is indicative that he kind of has an awful attitude. Hopefully it's the former.
  12. It's easy to explain, he's really good and has a sweet swing.
  13. Man that blows, 11th overall pick and his career was completely derailed by injuries. Not unlike Pompey, who seemed so promising but multiple concussions is just about the worst thing that can happen as an athlete.
  14. You should be concerned that Bob McCown agrees with you. This is not good for your argument.
  15. A silver lining is this should all but guarantee that Paulino starts the year with the team. Gaviglio and Borucki should now both be locks as well.
  16. Jose Martinez on suicide watch.
  17. That was a brutal AB from Khris Davis.
  18. Zac Rosscup is completely imploding.
  19. Extra inning baseball is great when it doesn't interfere with your sleep.
  20. They're not in the defense column of the player pages but they are on the leaderboards, weird enough.
  21. Plus two club options. The Rays did it again.
  22. When would he have become a free agent? Good for him for getting the guaranteed money, seems like an unreal steal for the Astros as well.
  23. Yeah Contreras tanked and Salvador Perez's entire career should basically be re-evaluated lol, great defensive catcher except at that one aspect that is so valuable.
  24. He went from about 38 fWAR to 53. His brother, the framing god himself, jumped to 17 career WAR as a 64 wRC+ hitter.
