    The fact that he's 25 should be a good thing lol. He has stuff to work out but I think he can be a good enough hitter to play at the MLB level. He might be going through the yips with his throwing, but he should have the physical tools to be something like a below average defender which is still playable if the hitting is decent. To call this a sunk cost this early into his career is egregious IMO.

    Giovanny Gallegos pitching in his native Mexico and the ESPN guys making a huge deal out of it and how the crowd was gonna be super supportive. Yasiel Puig comes up to the plate and promptly crushes a fastball on the first pitch to deep CF lol.

    The bullpen badly needs Tepera and David Phelps. However we'll always be at a disadvantage being forced to carry Luciano among the group.

    I like Mayza a lot but he's still very inconsistent. Some days he's unhittable and others he doesn't know where the ball is going.

    Of course not, although I will say that his defense making strides has been quite exciting, as I'm more likely to believe that this will stick going forward as opposed to his current hitting futility.

    Nothing has happened. It's been 12 games, he's going through a slump, it happens. He's probably not seeing the ball too well right now and he'll be fine in a month's time. There is zero cause for concern, seeing as his defense has been wholly unaffected.

    Jansen is really scuffling at the plate as well, needless to say it's been a very rough start to the majority of our hitters.
