    Considering established veteran innings eater Tanner Roark was taken out after only 73 pitches while cruising yesterday, I think Nate will be on a similar restriction. Doubt he throws more than 75-80 pitches.

    He hadn't played in the big leagues since 2017, and that was after consecutive years of significantly below replacement level production. It's puzzling that they literally could not find a single guy better in free agency (cough Puig cough), waivers or their minor league system.

    Oliver Drake played for 5 teams in one season before landing in Tampa and figuring it out and becoming a valuable reliever for them. That's just how relievers are, one day they can just click and another they can fall apart. Wilmer Font was very good for us, and maybe he unlocked something which allowed him to be good going forward. Or maybe not. Relievers!

    Doolittle looked terrible that inning. Sitting 89 and only topping out at 90. Got some good swings off him.

    We looked excellent against Tampa, and if it wasn't for being cursed at the Trop we should have taken 2 out of 3.
