  1. Dude that changeup is getting a ton of swings and misses.
  2. Grichuk robbed of a hit for the second game in a row.
  3. Lol Teoscar, with the way he played that you would have thought the ball was foul by 20 feet. But seriously nice play though.
  4. I think they're completely at the mercy of the home team's camera crew and likely their broadcast as well.
  5. Ryu looking filthy.
  6. Jesus, Riley got eaten up by those changeups.
  7. Charlie Montoyo making the right call once again. Extension when?
  8. Acuña has a cannon, I'm baffled as to why Riley cut that off.
  9. Grichuk hasn't quite tapped into his power yet this season but he's seeing the ball really well and hitting line drives left and right which is a great sign going forward.
  10. Vlad rocked a baseball in the air!!!
  11. Check out this pickoff from the other day. Even the home team announcers were laughing their asses off that a balk wasn't called. https://cuts.diamond.mlb.com/FORGE/2020/2020-07/29/f15b611e-5668511a-6a3ac111-csvm-diamondx64-asset_1280x720_59_4000K.mp4
  12. Meh, I wouldn't really say so. He showed this quality changeup in the Tampa game and the fastball was getting swings and misses in the Washington game. His stuff has been good this year, it's his command of those pitches where the problems have arisen.
  13. God damn that changeup is filthy.
  14. Umpires, like most baseball fans, don't know what a balk is and just make those calls based on their gut or how they're feeling that day (looking at you Joe West). Probably isn't a more inconsistent rule in the sport.
  15. I can't believe Ryu's super nonchalant move to first base actually got a pickoff. Being a lefty pays off I guess.
  16. Welp, Juan Soto might have injured his wrist or arm on the diving catch. He's probably out of the game too. Fun couple of innings for Nats fans and baseball fans alike. Edit: he's back out there
  17. And now he just made an excellent catch. What an exciting player. He did land super awkwardly though so hopefully he's not hurt.
  18. Juan Soto is back in the Nats' lineup tonight.
  19. 2nd lefty in as many days would be my guess. Not that I wouldn't rather have him over Drury regardless of matchup handedness mind you.
  20. How on earth is Royce Lewis still a top 10 prospect? Was it the below average performance at A+ or the below average performance at AA that increased his stock? He was worse in A+ while repeating the level.
  21. Nicely done Tony Buckets.
  22. Come on John, you've been around these parts long enough to know not to feed the sad, desperate attention-seeking man.
  23. He was an 88th percentile defender in 2019 by OAA and that's considering he also played the outfield where he was clearly out of place.
  24. This isn't true actually. Drury is an excellent 3B defender.
  25. "The White Sox top four were all born in Cuba. Moncada Robert Jimenez Abreu " Lol Buck
