  1. Mark Buerhle's a bulldog bro. He gets out there everyday, doesn't give a s***, might give up 5 runs or none, you can book on 6+ innings, pinpoint control, not trying to blow anyone by, and yet still racks up the occasional K. #Bulldogmentality
  2. Born there. Also, did JP just take a walk?!?!?! Or is it just that the boxscore guy is really hitting the booze hard?
  3. I haven't got a clue, just speaking out of experience.
  4. NEVER GO TO THE STADIUM ON CAMP DAY!!! It's the worst thing in the world and the damn kids will scream obnoxiously loud for everything!! At least the game I went on was a good one because I don't think I could have handled any kind of loss.
  5. So I check in and Bautista hits a HR, good stuff. And now Edwin with the walk, awesome! Keep it going here.
  6. Sanchez + Osuna (is he eligible to be traded already?) + Lind for Utley and Howard. Am I doing it right AA? Seriously looking back at the offseason trades...I can find peace with the Marlins one but Dickey for d'Arnaud and Syndergaard? That one's the stinger. Edit: It wasn't supposed to be a reply but whatever, I agree about the Rasmus part, while he may be inconsistent he always has good power and good range in CF, certainly better than the scrubs we were throwing out there before we acquired him.
  7. Top 10 catchers, especially ones with 1 average to above average tools for the position shouldn't be in this discussion, not fair to the rest.
  8. Trout can post the same value, if not more. All are controllable for a few years (Puig's under contract so it's a bit different) while Miggy earns the bucks and surely to be near Pujols level when his next FA year comes by. Edit: This was a response to Dick_Pole's post.
  9. I agree with this, IMO Trout and Harper will be really close value-wise (pending health issues of course), one's got easily 5 tools, the other has crazy power and the other 5 above-average at least tools in which he can and probably will improve upon. Machado's great but I think he may be a notch below the first two. Puig's got a SSS and while I would love for my fellow countryman to keep it going he's likely not going to, however he's also fairly young and could really continue to make an impact on the league, so hopefully he still can carry out like Cespedes once his numbers start to drop to realistic measures.
  10. Thanks bro. Dangerous to see Kinsler back in the lineup, so hopefully Dickey works the heat.
  11. Wasn't Lindblom a reliever? Texas going with what they have I guess.
  12. Hey bro, awesome GDT as per usual. Sorry to completely miss your post last night, was typing in a hurry, I'm hoping to post more but it's tough. How's the knuckler looking guys? Good to see Lind staying hot!
  13. I know it's just fun teasing bro haha. No offense to spanky (and a lot of hockey enthusiasts) but I tend to agree with the last part
  14. I see, would be nice for him to make a name for himself, I'm sure he's got the stuff to do it as you mentioned. Thanks.
  15. Nice to have some representation lol. But yeah hope they keep it going, how's Fernandez doing in Miami? I remember watching last year's Futures Games, nice velo.
  16. I don't really know how this works but put EE down for me tomorrow. Are there backups in case players are given days-off? In that case it would be Rasmus.
  17. Haha, nice to see you too man. I'll let it slip since Angs is a fountain of information. In our defense the players we have are doing pretty well...(Cespedes, Chapman, Puig (SSSI know) etc.
  18. Ridiculous, kid is a beast, would love to have a pitcher like him in our rotation, is our fastest lefty starter Buerhle? That's pretty sad though he gets results in his own way.
  19. #Bulldogmentality FTW! Good to see solid all-around contribution from just about everybody. Good win tonight, let's keep it rolling going into tomorrow's game!
  20. Hey guys, loving the new forum. I won't be posting with high frequency, but just wanted to register and say hi to all the posters. Great win tonight and Go Birds!
  21. Nice to take 2 so far from the Rangers. Sucks that we have used so many pitchers in the process though.
  22. Not bad. We'll definitely take that the way this season is going. Is the range still there? Love that about him, along with the easy power. Not very easy to watch games to say the least...
