  1. OK Navarro, keep that hot bat going and score at least one run here.
  2. f***ing Yankees! f***ing Rays! I hope the Rays blow it as bad as they did in NY as they do when they play the Jays.
  3. It does feel dirty rooting for the BoSox even though it's for our own gain. Oh well, I can get over it with a playoff berth.
  4. Cobb's no-no is over.
  5. Ugh. As long as the BoSox keep the lead and win...Wow...I feel dirty saying that.
  6. If they don't make it then they'll have to kick themselves for not beating the losing teams when they should have. Then again it would be odd if they made it, losing to the bad teams but finding a way to beat the good ones.
  7. I can't see that ending well for him.
  8. It's been a strange few weeks. If the As can fall like that, like you said, anything could happen. It's going to be fun.
  9. It's a weak pulse but it's a pulse! I went out for a walk last week and the weather said 5% chance of rain. So, I went. Of course I was caught in a downpour so if I can get rained on with a 5% chance that 6% means we're in! haha
  10. Escobar with his second bomb. Damn he's a one man wrecking crew tonight.
  11. Don't jinx it! But that's a good thing It's always a good day when the Yankees lose.
  12. I checked ESPN average winning % of teams the Jays face is .546 Os .503, Detroit .476, Cleveland .480, As .471, so of course the Jays have the worst luck with the teams they have left to play percentage wise. But if they manage to pull it off it would be something.
  13. Even a 6 game sweep would put the Jays back 4 games. Either they have to tank royally and the Jays win 17 in a row it's not going to happen. Would be really nice. It blows the Jays have some decent teams (Seattle, Baltimore, Yankees aren't going to just roll over) to fight it out for the WC yet other than Seattle (Yankees you could lump in there since we'd want distance between them and if nothing beat them out for 2nd in the division) it's no one in front of the Jays. It's not even controlling your own destiny. Blah. I'd even take an elimination in the WC just to end the drought and give everyone a shot in the arm to come into next season with. "Hey, we made it and just missed it while being in first for awhile, so let's attack from day one!" Kind of thing.
  14. Man, if Oakland winds up slipping and misses out on the playoffs that's going to be one epic choke. It'll make those trades look worse. It's going to be an interesting 3 weeks to say the least. 3.5 games out right now which isn't horrible since both slots might be open. It would be nice if the Jays played a few more of the teams to leapfrog. Seattle will be a must win series. Would be nice if we had to face Oakland, Detroit, try to pick up ground directly on them that way.
  15. If only Morrow could keep this up in relief, would sign a smaller deal, be the closer, and be lights out. If only.
  16. I want to see the lady with the broom run on the field riding the broom at the end of the game lol
  17. lol no Joey, I'm the only guy in history who doesn't want the ball from my first AB and RBI lol
  18. OK Pompey!First MLB AB and chance to pick up your first RBI too!
