Like his attitude and drive and wanting to compete but even if everything goes as planned, I wouldn't bring him back, especially if it's a non playoffs situation just to give him as much time to make sure it's healed considering how important he's going to be for the next few years. If he's 100% healthy, passes all the tests, and they think he can manage to pitch, then I can't see the harm IF he's 100% but considering it's his landing foot, the motion involved, I would be worried of some aggravation or another injury. This team has a history of saying a player is OK to come back only for them to wind up back on the DL.
Best case he's 100% can throw a few big league innings in Sept maybe the playoffs.
Worse case they say sorry kid wait until ST next year so we know you're good to go and not rushing anything.
