Bad third strike swing by Pompey. The Jays need to turn it around. Hopefully the off day gives them a break and they can regroup. Still, it will suck if we lose Reyes to the DL (which, cracked rib I'm surprised he's not on automatically) and if Travis will miss a series or two depending on how he responds. -

Definitely. He was a huge surprise and then just kept impressing this season. Seems like one of those "ninja" trades AA pulled off. He seems to be the end of the revolving door at 2B. I'm sure he'll struggle at some point, like all players do, but we need him especially since we don't have anyone who can replace him.

Donaldson just missed that one too. Nice defense just a bit away from him.

Weird question: Anyone have any idea how many balls get scuffed up by the turf? I know this year's is softer/longer but I was wondering that after the throw to second when they tried to get Martin at 2B and the fielder flipped the ball for a check to the ump. I'd imagine plastic must scuff them more. Just a random thought.
