  1. EE jammed his finger, wont be playing today. X-rays were negative.
  2. He has to be DFA'd to go down, he doesn't have options left
  3. It was a 25man roster issue, not a 40man roster issue. They needed a MLB roster spot and the BP depth they'll call up someone else in 4 days for the start.
  4. 8 man BP, they drop to 7 and call up a starter when they need it
  5. Opening a spot for Tulo and needed another BP arm bc Doubront got yanked after 4IP yesterday
  6. I can't see Edwin waiving his no trade to go to the NYM
  7. Tulo's personality reminds me a lot of JD's, they're going to rub a lot of people the wrong way
  8. I believe they are 3 - 35 but I find the table difficult to read Ahea Tied Behi Inning W L % W L % W L % 1 0 0 50 51 0.495 0 0 2 15 10 0.600 26 26 0.500 9 15 0.375 3 25 13 0.658 15 17 0.469 10 21 0.323 4 29 15 0.659 9 10 0.474 12 26 0.316 5 35 13 0.729 8 9 0.471 7 29 0.194 6 40 12 0.769 5 7 0.417 5 32 0.135 7 40 9 0.816 7 7 0.500 3 35 0.079 8 42 4 0.913 3 8 0.273 5 39 0.114 9 43 0 1.000 4 5 0.444 3 46 0.061 10 0 0 3 5 0.375 0 0 11 0 0 2 2 0.500 0 0 12 0 0 1 0 1.000 0 0 Provided by Baseball-Reference.com: View Original Table Generated 7/29/2015.
  9. I don't think so, RC is a pretty good hitters park as is but, there are others on here that know better than me (Boxy being one of them)
  10. I would but I'd prefer not to. I think they can add Shields + Haren for not much more than Norris.
  11. Good point the backloaded deal/opt-out definitely diminishes his value. I was thinking they'd want to recoup the comp pick they gave up.
  12. I'd way rather take Shields if that's the cost for Cashner + Ross as I can't imagine Shields would take much more than Norris and some B guys.
  13. Bautista tweeted after the game that it was just a cramp. Expects to play today. Travis was saying he is going to try and play through it, doesn't expect to miss any time either.
  14. Well a Reyes wRC+ projection of 117 just doesn't make sense. He was still a Met the last time he hit that well.
  15. Tulo tends to miss more time in the 2nd half, would that factor int o the projections?
  16. Goins is a decent bench piece but he's not an everyday player. After him it's probably Andy Burns or Johnathon Goins-lite Diaz. There is no way they can move Tulo mid-season.
  17. They're all in. They have the best 3B and SS in baseball plus a top 5 C and RF'er. Can't waste that.
  18. HUGE upgrade. Tulo over Reyes is the same improvement as Martin over Navarro.
  19. No chance he's being flipped mid-season (anything is possible in the off-season but it would still be very unlikely). The Jays are all-in.
  20. I think it really comes down to whether the Jays make the playoffs in the next two seasons. If they make the playoffs losing a young ace (if one of Hoffman, Tinoco or Castro pans out that way) wont matter.
  21. I could see one-of or both of them being moved in the off-season but there is an almost 0% chance either is moved mid-season.
  22. Don't have the pieces left. I've got a feeling Hamels will be a Dodger and Shields (backloaded deal is perfect for the payroll situation) will be a Jay along with a depth guy like Haren or Colon
  23. i love that they got Martin to be a middle of the order bat and he's going to bat 6th or 7th
  24. They'll get a top 100 prospect and a couple A ball guys without retaining any salary
