    I kind of like the fact there dealing with a non sabre metric gm in Cincy hopefully AA can give up some rawer prospects.

    He has good mechanics as well. Pretty ridiculous he has Ventura and Wacha ahead of him, both are massive injury risks and aren't even close in talent imo.

    I think they just wrongly evaluated his defense as i did. He looked sick in his brief call up last year but looked terrible this year. Not taking charge in the outfield, tarty on plays and letting his emotions get in the way of his game. At the plate he looked really susceptible to the offspeed and was a bit pull happy. It probably would have just gotten worse tbh.

    This. I liked all his moves in the offseason -not trading Navarro. The Kratz deal last year still bugs the s*** out of me though.

    You got to be careful with Edwin, he's an elite bat just having a down year to injury. Basically he's quite valuable in the long run.

    This is fair but Gibbons did start Ryan Goins in LF because he had good numbers against Buchholz. The man is not smart, he uses his fat gut and goes with the hot hand way to often.

    I think Gibbons truly believes you have to score 5+ runs a game to have a chance to win a game in the AL east. Few times this year he has put a lineup out that is defense first. The lineup construction is pretty horrendous, even today hitting Valencia 7th is huge mistake...I have been done with Gibbons for a while and hope a move is made quickly, the man is outdated.

    I'd rather give up Pompey then Pillar but doubt Washington does that deal because Ross is really good.
