    I did not expect a late 30s pitcher to be anything other than terrible. Actually, the fact that he's been an okay #4 pitcher was more than I expected.

    I don't get why the Jays are even throwing out pitchers whose names I know at this point... Just give your shittiest pitcher the ball (f***, let Martin pitch at this point) and come back tomorrow.

    No... WE weren't, AA was though. Most of us around these parts thought that was the stupidest f***ing trade we'd ever seen. It was a dumb trade from the moment it was proposed. Was terrible on its face, one of the worst trades I've seen in my lifetime (Sirotka was worse, but only slightly...)

    If we had signed him to a free agent deal where he was expected to be a #4, people would probably be okay with him. That's not what happened, and people are justified in complaining based on how he was "sold".

    The rules of MLB dictate what dimensions are allowed for a new stadium. The "new" Yankee stadium violates those dimensions in several ways, but Selig LOOOOOVED sucking Yankee cock, so he let them break the rules... http://www.closecallsports.com/2012/06/rule-104-note-minimum-field-dimensions.html "Any Playing Field constructed by a professional club after June 1, 1958, shall provide a minimum distance of 325 feet from home base to the nearest fence" You will note that Yankee Stadium is well short of 325 feet to right field...
