    Motherf***er played 17 years in the MLB... Then continued to play in the minors for another year... Then when affiliated ball said "no thanks man, you're too old" he said "f*** you" and went and played in the independent leagues for another couple of years. There's a lot of guys who take their World Series MVP trophy and retire in comfort after 6 or 7 years, Pat Borders was THE goddamn baseball player. You respect the f*** outta Pat Borders, or we're done here.

    I've always felt it was more a deception/release point thing. I don't know how much merit there is to it, but Grichuk is far from the first player to struggle when changing leagues (I mean, Stanton isn't exactly hitting up to his level as of yet, I mean, not as bad as Grichuk, but definitely not where Stanton should be...)
