    If he's pitching well, we should be keeping him (unless there's a great offer for him, obviously). I don't give even the tiniest whiff of a f*** what he acts like on the internet if he's pitching well, and his demonstrated love of Toronto may turn into a home-town discount down the road.

    I have never understood the belief from the media that the front office owes them information. I think they're much more effective when they're playing their cards close to their chest. I thought the same thing back when Ricciardi's "it's not a lie if we know the truth" comment became a big f***ing deal.

    Nobody said anything about him being Syndergaard, don't be daft. He's got potential to be more than a mid-rotation starter, he's young and he's got good stuff, and his numbers this year (at the highest level before the majors in his early 20s) indicate that he may have figured out something, maybe even since March!

    Yeah, and a first offence "Simple Assault" charge typically doesn't result in a sentence that carries jail time. It's extremely unlikely that he will end up in jail from this.
