    Depending on Groshans/Martin development this year, Semien might not be a priority to re-sign. Don't get me wrong, he's been great, and I'd love to have him on the team, but I don't know if the Jays should spend $100M over 4 years or whatever on him w/ the other pieces that are on the team. Of course, if Groshans/Martin aren't remotely ready, or Biggio can't get it back together, or they can get Vladdy and Bo signed to stupid cheap extensions, or any number of other things happen, it might make sense. There are only 3 positions where he works, and Bo/Groshans/Martin/Biggio also work at those positions, in whatever combination. I mean, amazing problem to have regardless...

    Chatwood looked like hot f***ing garbage in the 6th, and Montoyo didn't even consider having someone warmed up in case he continued to look like hot f***ing garbage in the 7th. This is after he did the exact same f***ing thing with the exact same f***ing pitcher several games ago. And after he's made key managerial decisions the DIRECTLY lead to runs being scored against the Jays (or runs not being scored BY the Jays) costing several additional losses. The impact of managers, as a whole, statistically, is not great. We're talking about one specific manger repeatedly making decisions to the detriment of his team. I mean, if he just decided to use Vladdy as a pinch runner exclusively for the rest of the season, would you still be saying "his decisions aren't having much effect on the games..."?

    Really good teams are well known for taking their foot off the gas and being fine with 2/3.

    If this were the first brutal managing mistake this year/month/week sure maybe he has a point, but he's been consistently horrid. Just f***ing awful.

    Yeah, should be 3 errors IMO, but official scorers almost never give errors to outfielders. That Semien hit should 100% have been an error, that was just booted by the 3B.
