  1. Where did you come up with the 1% number? I don't think that's true. I know the general public loses money on average because the sharps put big money on one side and typically the general public is on the other side. Then Vegas is laughing because they take home their 10% commission. One of my rules of betting is when the public is 80% on one side of the game and the line doesn't budge i bet heavy (4-5 units) on the opposite because i know the sharps have huge money on the other side... regardless of what my math model and situational analysis says.
  2. I don't know man. Vegas makes money because they make lines and adjust lines to get 50% of the bet on both sides and thus they take home the 9-10% rake no matter who wins. So when you look at it that way you're not betting against Vegas but rather the public. Ive consistently made money off betting the spreads over the last 6-7 years. My math model has let me down a bit this year, but it tends to get better as the season goes on and i get more information to input. Aslong as you avoid parlay bets and you have a money management system you just need to hit 56-59% of your picks to be very profitable over the season. The general public hits around 44% which is hilarious because you could grab a random off the street who knows nothing about football and would do better then the average sports gambler. And yeah....I'm f***ed with Seattle today. Haha.
  3. Who does everyone like today? Had a tough time picking a team in my suicide pool but finally decided on Seattle. I'll do the board a favour and won't post my point spread picks today. lol. God, ive been bad this year.
  4. Consensus is it will be offered and turned down. He's likely gone and I'm perfectly fine with that.
  5. I like Turner (position flexibility) but i think we would be buying high on him. He's coming off a career year where he BABIP (404) his way to a wRC+ of 157. If the Dodgers would trade him for like Navarro then cool....but with Friedman now the GM my hopes of fleecing some of that 2nd base depth the Dodgers have has been despaired.
  6. You know what i hate about cashing out on FanDuel. They send you the cheque in US funds and then your bank (or at least mine) holds it for like a month. Same thing happen to you?
  7. Daily Fantasy Sports is such a dumb saturated market. With all the commercials FanDuel/Draftings/DraftStreet ect run advertising the 100% sign up bonus you have all these people who have no clue what their doing signing up so if you play the 50/50's and have a model/system that you follow you can do quite well right now.
  8. Are you still playing in the post season? I stopped once the season ended.
  9. How about them Bucs? Oh wait, They f***ing suck.
  10. Ugh my favourite sports teams are so f***ing bad. Why Bucs? Why must you be so awful.
  11. My picks today: Buffalo +3 Miami +3 Cincinnati -6.5 San Francisco -3
  12. Who's everyone betting on tomorrow? Who are people playing in their daily fantasy leagues?
  13. Melky's far superior with the Bat. Saunders is far superior at everything else. Saunders will also be making likely 12-14 million less per year without a long term commitment and can play all the OF positions.
  14. The more i think about it the more i like an Adam Lind for Saunders swap. We trade a 1B/DH extreme platoon bat who's often injured for a CF/LF platoon bat who's often injured. Saunders platoon splits aren't as extreme as Linds, he provides more defensive value at a position of need when the free agent market is bare this year. He costs less so savings to re invest (hopefully). We could probably pick up Kendrys Morales (switch hitter) on a very reasonable one year contract to replace Lind. I think he has a great chance to rebound (late start, BABIP 244) Seattle needs/looking for a 1B/DH bat. Could be a fit.
  15. I don't see how JP get's credit for that. JP pushed for 2 prospects from the Reds (who busted) and in order to get said prospects the price was to take on Encarnacion. And as you said JP has said multiple times that the Joey Bats trade was AA coming up to him and asking for 'his blessing' to make a deal for him. It's fair to say JP had 'talents' i guess, but you can't use those 2 examples to try and argue your point. lol
  16. That's the point when trading with Seattle.
  17. Yeah i could see them liking Lind. I wonder if we could expand the deal to try and swap Lawrie for Seager too. Adam Lind, Brett Lawrie + Sanchez? for Saunders and Seager.
  18. I'm not sure how well we match up with Seattle in a trade. especially if their looking for some pop in a corner outfield bat.
  19. Maybe we can sign Eric Thames from Korea and see if Seattle is interested again? You just know Jack Z loves him some Chocolate Thunder.
  20. Ive got my lube and maple boner ready! He would be nice since he can play CF. I'd prefer him in CF then a Gose/Pillar platoon.
  21. ^ lmao why would he admit to smoking " a little weed". That's like going through a RIDE program wasted and telling the officer you "only had 1 beer". Your automatically f***ed as soon as you admit any guilt.
  22. What do you guys think Navarro would get in free agency if AA had signed him to a one year contract like how he originally wanted?

Oh i agree. But when you need to pick something up on the go...and your choices are McDicks and Subway and you see a "prime rib melt" sub. I was tempted and it was god so good. 12" sub was good enough for 2 meals. Ps. Subway feel free to hire me. Edit: Not as a sub bitch - I'd rather kill myself. CEO or bust.

The first one i had was similar to your first orgasm. You're not expecting anything...but then..god...so good. Honestly...the follow up one was disappointing because the subway dude didn't heat the meat up well enough so it tasted like cold pot roast. Get it extra toasted so the meat is hot and tender. Limit the vegetables....green peppers, Red Onions, tomatoes and southwest sauce.
