Is TB like a really good scoring team? I'm not sure why a site JFaS would use would recommended Emry (the backup) but the 3rd string would be so much more terrible. I dunno though...i don't really know anything about it. My brother told me to check on Emry status tonight or otherwise he would be in my lineup. I have a bunch of money to use to upgrade if you think there's a better option who's not elite and super expensive.

Enlighten me. I'm open to other suggestions. But the site did recommend Emry against said team. And google tells me he's a backup so i dunno what the drop off would be to the next back up.

I know nothing about hockey but since our local robot (JFaS) brought up dangle factory i'm going to play a 50/50 leauge on fanduel using the sites picks with the exception of Ray Emery since he's not playing and plug in the other goalie Zepp. It's kinda weird since i have so much salary remaining (1,300) but whatever. ha. Guess i'm watching hockey tonight.

I'm sure there are. But in a 50/50 with 1k people or whatever it doesn't matter if you have a bunch of sharps in it. There's enough dumb players where you can finish in the top 50% the majority of time. At the end of the day if you know your stuff you won't lose money and will have a blast playing. So it's worth it. DK and FD are probably the most 2 active sites so i guess it's just a personal preference on the scoring/lineup system. I started out with DK for real money but ive been playing FD more recently because people on this board seem to play it more.

I signed up in 2011 because in football they had freerolls pretty much every week. I actually started out on draftstreet which was bought by draftkings. I put money into the site at the start of last NFL season. It's been a blast. If you're looking for a sweet sign up bonus victiv is good. The site is s*****/glitchy though. Ive never withdrawn money yet too so i'm not sure what that is like. Even if you don't deposit you can get a couple free 5$ tix (cash out restricted). So there's no harm/risk signing up and testing it out.

What's vig? I would stay away from the h2h games. It's fun if you're playing someone from this board but other then that the absolute best players on FD tend to create multiple H2H's. If you're looking to make a steady profit play the massive 50/50 leagues as the advertising for these kinda sites are crazy and you get a lot of dumb dumb's who sign for for the 100% sign up bonus (which they likely never get anyways). 10% rake is pretty industry standard on any type of betting website. It's just something you have to deal with. There's defenitly money to be made if you know what you're doing. It's also a fantastic form of entertainment. It's really fun.

I just read the article....lol Martin acknowledges it's not really a pitch you try and frame. “The receiving component of it kind of goes out the window, your thoughts are, ‘Just catch the ball.’ Really, there’s no framing the pitch, or making it look good, it’s a cross-mix of a first baseman’s glove and a catcher’s glove, it’s a bit bigger, and you just try to centre the ball in a good part of the glove.” - Martin. -

Yep. Not that exciting for me since i didn't put too much money on Indy. The Lions last week and Cowboys this week i put large bets on so i'm happy with how the playoffs have gone for me.

I just tried to look it up on some of my history on FD. It doesn't show the % owned in the history. Unless i'm doing something wrong. It was never that high though. Really you live and die with your starting pitcher. Park factors, team wRC+ and getting someone who misses bats and works deep into games and likely will get the win is really key. I know BigJohn/LTR get's alot of s*** around here because he can be trollish but he did win over 2000 FD games in a few months of an MLB season. So he's a good person to shoot ideas/strategy off of.

Van Slyke vs LHP i did very well with. He was always dirt cheap. The main thing with baseball is getting the SP pitcher right. Also you need to be able to edit your lineups. If your someone like me who's sometimes at work when the games start and it's a banned site you cant play on those days because of possible rain outs and guys taking a day off.

Use a site. It's much better...you can adjust the spreads for juice. you can make live bets in game. After you withdrawl money it comes in 3ish day directly into your bank account.
