    Well in 2014 in 2 IP in AAA (ignoring his excellent MLB numbers) his FIP was 8.86 and in 2013 his FIP was 2.88. So we kinda need to cherry pick numbers here, but you're right.

    Todd is a smart guy. Let's use the last two years as examples. in 2015 Cecil posted a 2.34 FIP and 2016 his FIP is 4.42. I think it's quite reasonable to expect a bounce back performance in 2017. in 2018 with how volatile RP pitchers are he could very well post <4 FIP. Todd is onto something.
