    The Yankees have reached a deal to acquire right-hander Tyler Clippard from the D-backs, reports FanRag’s Jon Heyman (Twitter link). The Clippard acquisition signals that in spite of this morning’s stunning trade of Andrew Miller to Cleveland, the Yankees aren’t waving a white flag on the 2016 season just yet. Joel Sherman of the New York Post was first to report that the Yankees were looking for veteran bullpen help even after moving Miller (Twitter link). - Mlbtraderumors.

    This seems strange. Why are you looking to move him for waiver picks? I thought you were going for it?

    Went into the season thinking i had a stud bullpen; Drafted Wade Davis, Trevor Rosenthal, Tony Watson and Mark Lowe. I had visions of copious amounts of saves, holds and good ratios. Would not draft stud bullpen again.
