  1. Dickey deserves better, once again. He will give up one run and people will tell Wilner to send him to pen.
  2. No, this thread is for batting order and I am sure you assumed I was a man. Enjoy the evening. go Astros
  3. Good hit, Smoak. Hmm. And I don't have a dick
  4. And if you recall, I was heavily criticized for stating how JP Arencibia was a ridiculous player, etc
  5. Yes, I work and live in Toronto so have better things to do, such as watch other games on MlB, etc. Thank you, Mr. Measure of a man is the length or frequency of his post (s)
  6. ShockinglyJD has a worse average with RISP, I believe. When is Jacoby or Gibbons going to face some heat? Frankly I would, at this point, prefer Smoak or Saunders in cleanup. Sad.
  7. So sad. Goins had that one good series against Red Sox but otherwise, UGH. Really shocking that he can't bunt. If Gibby needs to rest someone, rest Reyes or EE. Why Travis, who is hot? Why is Reyes always playing? Goins never even comes in as a def. replacement. Bye Gibby, hello Hentgen!
  8. Does not matter. Shi will say, "They were asking for Stroman." He made no mention of Gibby's bullpen use in his game recap, actually saying that Gibby's hands were tied and including Gibby's comment that Loup's pitch was disappointing. You think, Gibby??! Shi is getting worse.
  9. Is this Gibby?? Why not rest an older player like Reyes?
  10. Gibby has rested the wrong players many times before and important games (rubber matches or sweeps). When will Reyes ever get a game off?? Gibby initially hesitated to remove him after Reyes got hit in the face!! Still, Loup should not be facing any righties, ever, unless it is a blowout.
  11. Exactly and anyone would have been better than Loup vs. a competent rightie.
  12. We have Cecil, who at least can get lefties and righties. We also could have left Sanchez in longer. Loup is horrific against righties. Sorry but there was no surprise. No w Plus Rodney was all that was left, really, for Seattle. Loup's 6 HR against righties in 22 innings is horrible. Let Sanchez go longer, perhaps. Give Cecil chance. If game goes fifteen innings...but at that point we had a better chance. Gibby too conservative and saving bullets yet wastes Osuna a week ago in a 6-2 lead.
  13. Loup is 6.85 erA AGAINST RIGHTIES. In the past nine days I think Gibby has prob. cost us four games, going back to the Friday bullpen use in Tampa. And why no Travis today? How many times has he rested position players when we have a day off??? I could not believe that Loup was left in. Shi, don't say "Gibby's hands were tied," in your stupid apologist's article that we need to accept as fact unless you mean Gibby was too paralyzed to make the correct decision. Cecil would have even been a better choice if Gibby were "saving" Osuna and Hendriks. Just disgusting. Loup was almost a F. Rodney forgone conclusion. Let us get Hentgen, Alomar (Robbie, Sandy, or even their respective spouses!) A shakeup can't hurt. In fact a few players might appreciate it.
  14. Lucky he has the record he has and is not sent down and actually doesn't take the loss. Very fortunate for a twenty-four yr old struggling pitcher
  15. Yay, Twins. Let us go after Yanks and then worry about wildcard. Still fear Yanks will pick up Hamels or Cueto or Chapman and cover all the cash. It is a concern. They are fine with cash but want to keep prospects. I suspect AA has little cash to spend. Some teams now want to dump contracts and are not as crazily greedy about prospects. Bad news for Jays, I think. Oh, and CC sucks
  16. Of course Osuna should start. He is only twenty. Frankly, if we were in a one game wildcard game, I would give him the first five innings. Nerves of steel. Than throw Dickey or someone in
  17. Yes, that was the risk all along. Let someone claim him. I think he will not put us over the top
  18. Agree. They have the balls to send Delebar down but ...I would give Norris the chance. I feel he might do better in the call up with a chip on his shoulder. Plus I read so much from scouts and writers who think a high ceiling lefty should be kept. Give Norris a chance, my God. Can it be worse than Drew on the road or Felix D. .or Copeland or Boyd or....
  19. Infield was in. Just put it in play. Don't swing for the fences and pop out or strike out, which we have done a lot. On the ground is fine. No homer swing
