I didn't think you were making it up or anything, I was just interested in reading it. While looking I found something about the home plate ump being suspended two games for failing to properly follow a rule, while the other three were fined. I just can't imagine them ever actually being punished for judgment calls, which unfortunately is pretty much their job.

Link for this? I remember Zaun once saying how their punishment is that they don't get to call the playoffs or some s*** like that.
