Well damn, no baseball at all tomorrow. Would have been nice to get a game 163 if only for that reason.

Yeah it was really baffling. I know this will sound ridiculous to some, but even before the deadline, this team just had a different feel than other years. I'm someone that really doesn't know how not to be incredibly pessimistic, but even I honestly felt pretty good about this team for most of the season. Thankfully everything really clicked after those acquisitions, since it would have been such a waste otherwise.

Same, so I was super confused by these questions. I go Long Branch to Union (if I don't take the subway) and I've never had any issue going to or from games. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that others are often inconvenienced, considering how awful public transportation is in general.

I don't know if you noticed, but no one answered when he asked earlier, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't live in Ontario so he's likely concerned about when he'd need to get here.

Yeah, pretty much this. Really wanted this for Buehrle, and winning the AL would have been nice, but we're going to the playoffs so I need to just get over what happened today.

I f***ing loathe that it sounds like they hand out insanely obnoxious noisemakers to people as they enter the stadium.

Yeah, literally no one (except maybe Tabler) was asking for completely absurd calls in his favour, but several were super borderline and could have gone either way, and he chose to give him none of them. It's just frustrating when we had s***** defence to go along with it, and we obviously all just really wanted this for Buehrle.

If not for s***** defence, he would have been out of that inning long before it was 7-0.
