    The curse of the opening day starter continues for Blue Jays. More times than not it seems whoever the Jays pick as their opening day starter for that season craps the bed other than Ray.

    This ump is not being consistent with how he's calling one team vs the other

    This strike zone is getting a little strange against the Blue Jays. Manoah isn't getting anywhere near that leeway.

    I was actually wondering last season if there was a reason why Yankees players were still putting up big numbers compared to other teams in the league and I suspected the balls used for their games was different. I'm not at all surprised that there's some shady business going on. if they can change the call for different games, what's to stop them from using different balls within the game depending on which team is batting. Urgh

    I have no doubt the Rays have found a way to cheat at the Trop that isn't being recognized. People just suddenly suck pitching there.

    It felt like that mound visit threw off Cimber. That was unnecessary.

    Not sure how well other teams have done but the Jays seem to have done poorly drafting and developing. If this continues the value of Jays prospects will plummet in trade talks.

    It basically feels like Montoyo decided to try to win game 1 and throw game 2 away, and then had no backup plan.

    Important spot in game you know Bo is going to swing at the first pitch and kill momentum.

    Gotta make sure to get the bench players as many at bats as the regulars I guess. This is freaking baseball. Montoyo manages the game like It's a high intensity sport. Funny enough, even in sports like hockey and basketball the stars play significantly more minutes then the support.

    Does Montoyo pre-plan that if Kikuchi sucks then he wants to make him look better by bringing in Richards in the same game? He has done this multiple times now. Bringing in Richards there made zero sense.

    I swear the game ends way too often with Bo killing a rally and leaving Vladdy on deck lol.

    That play where Bo tried to take the popup from Vladdy was probably his passive aggressive way of telling Vladdy put his glasses the f*** on. Otherwise it's a lack of respect thing from Bo.

    He literally made the move to go lefty on left and had no other thought. He didn't even think the other team would do the obvious and pinch hit. It was pretty much guaranteed the Cardinals would pinch hit and Buroki would face a right handed lol. He also seems to give Berrios more respect than other players on the team who have handled situations well, like Phelps and Manoah. This guy just has zero feel for the game, or even his own players.

    So Montoyo said that he was surprised they pinch hit for the rookie in a lefty on lefty matchup. It seems the other manager knows more about Montoyo's own pitcher than he does. I don't even know what to say...

    Bo with a smile after a loss like that, Montoyo making dumb pitching changes again. Yeah this team isn't ready.

    Typical of Montoyo to make sure any player involved in a recent roster move has to play in next game.
