  1. He likes us a lot, so if we offer a competitive #, he might do it. But maybe he is looking for the final payday. Would suck to lose that changeup.
  2. Extend this man for 2 years. If he walks, holy moly.
  3. Weird, it was reported by globe and mail. Figured they were reputable enough. Guess we'll find out.
  4. Mr. October, Septembo, July Chapman ... the calendar is here baby.
  5. Poor Schwarber lol. The amount of times Jays made balls disappear in the twilight, we are surely doing some voodoo.

  7. Canada is removing the mandatory vaccine requirement policy on Sept 30. Postseason will have full rosters in Canada.

If you deep-dive though, Romano currently holds the most shutdown appearances as a closer. As a % of his save opportunities, he is 4th best and the only other playoff contender that is ahead of him is the combo of Fairbanks/Adam (TBR) by a very slim margin. Other thoughts: Actually crazy how bad Kimbrel is. Clay Holmes has fallen off quite hard. Duran > Pagan/Lopez - yet Twins insist on using Duran as a setup man. Helsley is insane but he also isn't always on (he has 4 blown saves). Bard is kind of elite. Bautista is also pretty elite - despite his control issues, he only has one blown save and only one non-shutdown appearance as a closer (yesterday's was close, but I think the two Ks kept him just afloat). Camilo Doval & Gregory Soto are bonkers.
  9. Think of Judge as post-ASB Chapman but is locked in to crush every mistake pitch. rarely chases any borderline/off pitch leading to deep counts, and if it comes together, he'll mash it; if it doesn't, he'll K. He has always been a really good hitter but had some chase to him; this year, he just said f*** that. His plate discipline has been on point.
  10. You beat him with fastball.
  11. Bo can't handle fastballs - Ah well.
  12. I am just not sure why we shift against Adley when he has consistently shown - this very series and game including - that he can go the other way.
  13. Can't shift against smart hitters lol
  14. Damn Vavra, Aaron Hill vibes
  15. I am just happy he's one away from a 30 HR season.
  16. Man y'all are jumping at an observation and projecting intent. Chill lol.
  17. That was actually a ridiculous pitch to hit a HR off of lol
  18. Another wallscraper for the big boi.
  19. Damn Yankees leading 5 - 4.
