Big league debuts usually don't go past the sixth inning whether they are good or bad. Hopefully we can make their pen throw 4 innings and help us for the other games in the series.

IMO big league experience at 24 will be better for his future than staying in AAA.

fip of 3.10 and xfip of 3.91. I give him credit, he's been amazing but I expect him to have a mid 3's ERA by season's end.

The people who are saying "Snider sukz!!" are the same people who are crying when we traded him. Just because he's not on our team and you don't get to see his play everyday doesn't mean he sucks. I liked Snider and I wish him all the best, he's definitely playing better with his changed scenery. -
Because there is more upside with high schoolers. There is almost no chance that someone under the college/university spotlight who is unknown turns into a superstar. Almost every college player is projectable and already discovered. You can get your Mike Trouts with late first round high school picks. I can guarantee you if a Mike Trout type player was in college you'd need the 1st pick.

What? You didn't hear about him before this so why are you saying "I didn't think he showed promise"? And Angrioter probably hadn't seen him 1/100th as much as the scout that signed him did. The scout obviously saw something worthy of a low risk contract and he had a chance to amount to something but just didn't. It happens a lot. -

I talked a bit about this over the winter. They should equip a pitchers hat with a thin gel type material which could absorb a lot of the impact while being barely noticeable.
