Of course each team has their own list but was wondering if it came down to the crunch if they would listen to outside influences, like being sold on someone that wasn't that high on their own list.
In your opinion, does a list like this have any type of influence with GM's and their trading mentality towards certain prospects?
Or do they even pay attention to it?
That list consist mostly of our Jays that were part of WS winners. You just don't forget these guys. They brought us the ultimate prize. To me, Carter will always be a hero! Watching it live, I was jumping so high in my living room, spilling my beer mug all over the place.
If we need to trade Donaldson in a few years I'm sure we'll get a better package for him then what Oakland got from us imo. A win win situation all the way, unless something tragic happens.
WTF is the big deal about posting a link? It's like a f***ing sacrilege on this site if a thread doesn't meet the approval of a certain clique of individuals.
It's a public forum consisting of people with different levels of baseball knowledge. Can we not just get along and quit attacking each other.
Sure, beauty and brains matter but if you're not compatible, sooner or later it catches up to you.

I remember back in 1967..... LOL
GOHABSGO #25 coming up. Did the Leafs missed the playoffs last year? kinda feel sorry for them.... NOT http://www.10-78.com/smf/Smileys/oldsmilies/Laughintears.gif
I'm happy AA covered that area instead of being in limbo and possibly involved in a money contest. I'm happy with Saunders and he makes me proud as a Canadian that he loves the Jays.
And how about Smoak, taking 2M less, that's just awesome. I hope he finally lives up to being a first round pick.
I'm all for signing Toritani if the other choice is not to sign anyone else. Give this foreigner a chance, you never know. And he's not a rookie, he has proven himself in Japan.
In chess you do have to make some moves... eventually.
I had some hope for something out of it. Well in all fairness to AA, he did warn us that he doesn't like WM.
They made him an extension offer that he found offensive. They could have given him a reasonable offer and he would have taken it, then the team wouldn't have traded him and got the nice return for him. I hope you understand what I am saying now., it does make a difference.
I'm also fearing this. He didn't do anything last winter meetings and he seems to be doing nothing again.
Hope he gives his head a shake and starts ninjaing while some decent rp are still available. Not having any offers out there might be an indication that he's now on a short leash budget wise.
Making comments about his injuries being related to the turf was ridiculous and I took it that he said that to discouraged free agents to sign with Toronto which was classless imo.
