As soon as I saw the replay I thought it was gonna be reversed. As much as I love Jose he does have a history of boneheaded plays. This game wasn't decided by the umps, or New York, or Chase Utley, it's entirely on Joey.
Don't have a problem with the decision. Jose reached out and blatantly tried to disrupt Forscythe... Still though, what a s***** way to lose, you're better than that Joey.
He looks so lost. He keeps throwing balls in the dirt and falling behind in the count. Even when he gets an out it's a screamer to the warning track bailed out by Pillar
I just don't understand how a guy like Pillar can be 'given' the leadoff spot with little to no success as a major league hitter, hopefully Gibby can see the light before the season starts.
can the arbitration nerds tell us if this is less or more than what he was projected to earn if he we just took it year by year? I mean I'm sure it's close, just curious

25 pounds of muscle you say? but can he stop guys from getting on base?
I wanna see the WSox take the next step, they've been dogshit for far too long. It was painful to watch them give up decent prospects for shark only for him to have a mediocre season and then walk for nothing...
