  1. 6 runs, 1 hit.....can somebody? Anybody check and see if that's a record?
  2. Just a complete joke and they should all be utterly ashamed of themselves. I'm sorry, but you have allowed 3 runs, without a ball leaving the infield? And there are still guys on base? Santos throwing 15 straight sliders.....so when is it that you realize you have a guy frozen and set up for a fastball?? Navarro, the JPA? With his fat, useless ass unable to get down and block any of those pitches when it matters? 3 starters, who against the MINNESOTA TWINS, can't put in a quality start? Absolutely disgusting. And with this laid back fat pig, retard manager to boot? This team will not win 75 games this year and FINALLY Alex, Gibby and all the rest of these perrenial f***ing losers will finally be cast off. I'm only bothering to watch when hutch pitches for the next while. I've seen nothing out of anybody else but him and Buehrle that even resemble a starting pitcher. Sorry for the rant, I'm just so thoroughly disgusted that I'm just.......wow......3 runs without a hit........f***ing wow...
  3. Nah, we're 7th thus far with 55. http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/sortable.jsp#elem=%5Bobject+Object%5D&tab_level=child&click_text=Sortable+Team+pitching&game_type='R'&season=2014&season_type=ANY&league_code='MLB'&sectionType=st&statType=pitching&page=1&ts=1397781747076&sortColumn=bb&sortOrder='desc'&extended=0&position='1'
  4. Exactly ZAUN. You've got your fastest player, nowhere NEAR yet established, swinging at a 3-1 pitch. While hitting at the bottom of the lineup yet where your JOB is to get on base to set the table for the top of the lineup. No business WHATSOEVER swinging at that pitch. Against a guy who has thrown more balls than strikes yet!!! Bahahahaha
  5. That's your opinion. I don't. I want my fastest player, and base stealing threat, taking that pitch. Regardless of what he got to hit, he hasn't proven he could hit a beach ball floating up there at 4 mph. That's a take all the way against a pitcher who has thrown more balls than strikes, give me a break already. When he proves he can hit with ANY consitency, he can swing 3-1.
  6. Wins the lottery basically and puts up a 2-12 record with a 6 ERA over his past 14 decisions, must be nice.
  7. You don't even what? Want to explain to me why a speedster is swinging 3-1 while facing a guy who is throwing more balls than strikes?
  8. Can't believe this Pelfrey idiot has managed to get anyone out. And Why the f*** is Gose swinging at 3-1?
  9. Maybe he'll stay injury free for the next five and give us some of the promise we've been waiting for.
  10. A shorthop dig and tag. Izzy or Boni and that guys standing at third and we're still watching McGowan pitch.
  11. Dickey is a swing and a miss guy, once every thirty seven knucklers that actually moves the way he needs it to.
  12. We don't need a power hitter from that position right now. A cardboard cutout at the plate will do. But he plays stellar defence and turns the double play with just about anyone at short. So f*** his offense, his value of defense is more than good enough to make up for that. Our team is set up so that they should in no way whatsoever need to rely on him for his bat. He's fine.
  13. Jays are guaranteeing him another start, making sure Minnesota stays in the basement where they belong when he gets bombed in his next four starts.
  14. Ump gives Pelfrey a strike off the plate after he's thrown more balls than strikes, then tabler says that umpires aren't going to give you those calls? This ump apparently will.
  15. Still not enough. He can easily develop into a decent hitter for what he is. He's young, with basically no MLB experience. I still take a chance on him because his defence is great. If he can be coached into becoming a .250 hitter, I'd be s***ing nickels.
  16. In all fairness, there isn't much of a sample size on Goins. Gotta give the guya chance to get some consistent AB's. His defence at second counts for quite a bit, especially when you consider what we were getting at that position last year as far as both defence and offense go.
  17. That's pretty brutal. You have a guy having thrown 50 pitches in 2 innings and you only got 2 runs off of him? Good teams score runners from third with less than 2 out, almost automatic. Yet you have a guy with an ERA over 7 getting himself out of a jam with medicre fastballs right down the middle.
  18. Yeah, they need this one. We need to keep winning these series against weaker teams.
  19. Love it when guys blame their EPIC failures on the field on the "culture" or lack of whatever where they came from. Hope he's still having fun when he's buried at .210 with and OBP of .235 again. Love to see what he blames it on next.
  20. Sorry bro, but I honestly can't tell if that was meant to be sarcastic. IMO, it's devasting to get crushed by those teams in the situation. If we are 15 games over .500 and rolling along, you gotta expect that you're gonna get your ass handed to you. But there are those games where a win to set up a sweep, or to complete a sweep, and your so called ace comes up lame back to back like that and you get your ass beat? So to me, depending on the situation, getting your ass handed to you by a team you should beat, in certain situations is pretty devastating when you're trying to gain momentum and bury the teams you need to bury in order to establish yourselves as a team moving in the right direction. Losses like that can be momentum killers, especially when you look back and say that you should have easily won 2 out of 3 or swept instead of potentially losing the series against an inferior team. Just my thoughts anyways...
  21. But Wait!! Where's Spanky to call everyone idiots for hating on the guy? Cos I called this idiot out day 1(now given it was day ONE), and got called every name in the book and told that I didn't know what the f*** I was talking about. Where are you Spanky? Are all the detractors here in this thread idiots for hating on a guy who implodes even against the WORST of teams? In games, like this one and the last one in Houston, that could've AND SHOULD'VE continued winning streaks that allowed his team both momentum and confidence. He shows up and gets hammered. He wins these last 2 starts and this team is 10-5 instead of 8-7. BIG difference. Play .500 against the good teams and smash the trashy ones and you end up fighting for a playoff spot at the end. Dickey doesn't even give this team that chance. Same thing last year, in big games, when we needed him most, he completely implodes. Walking like 4 or 5 f***ing guys again?
  22. I've used the ignore feature, that's over. Cobb and Hutch should be an excellent matchup?
  23. A cat? ooooooook, well, maybe he can catch for whoever has Arencibia now. Lookm forward to seeing Hutch throw.
