Thanks for your input. So in your opinion Pete Walker is a good pitching coach? I'm sincerely asking. I don't know how to evaluate one but I never found him to be particularly insightful in interviews so my view of him is clouded by that. Don't be a ****.

Not sure about last season, but I know he has been helping Sanchez with a slider, which he sucks at and never throws. Norris learned a change from him that looked great in one start but less so in the next. I realize these should probably not be Walker issues but I don't find him particularly insightful in interviews and any pitching coach praise I hear from players is usually directed to Dane Johnson.

Probably not. I just really wanted other people's input on how much of an impact they think a pitching coach can have and the board seemed dead at the moment.

Am I alone in thinking a pitching coach change might be in order before any other drastic moves? Sorry if this seems reactionary but I was never a fan of his hiring in the first place and I've seen nothing that made me think I was wrong since. Stroman was good before he got here. Hutch doesn't seem to have progressed much. Norris seems to have almost taken a step back command wise. I'm pretty sure he stays away from Burly and Dickey so they don't count. Who has he helped?
