  1. He was my favorite Blue Jay player for a while there
  2. Machado, sorry. Have you seen Lawrie's throws? Really hard, but too frequently off the mark (Lind & EE saved him so many times). Also he doesn't have the "softest hands", often fumbles and has to recover.
  3. But AA is in a more stable position than ever - attendance is up like 20-30% this year? At the end of the day (and I hate that expression) that's the main thing Rogers cares about.
  4. Great response from Zaun.
  5. Anything but .500 baseball plz.
  6. Look at what he's done with the SP - a merry-go-round of starters coming up and down. Honestly what kind of organization determines a pitchers continuity (worth) based on 1-2 starts in the big leagues (under nervous conditions). So many colossal f***-ups this year because he's panicking with his finger on the trigger(s).
  7. Poor JPA ego - taking blow after blow. He's trying to fight back but it's a hopeless fight.
  8. Yeah but didn't AA fire many of his so-called scouts? And I also heard him say that he was going to stop making key decisions that he doesn't believe in (he said this last prior to the big trades/moves), supposedly because some of them back-fired... he did not say which of course. So you could say this year is a result of AA bypassing the scouts and making his own calls.
  9. Was thinking the same. More like a really really good sales person (for example I can see him being one of the elite Firestone Tires salesman in Canada). He can really talk the talk.
  10. I would of put Longoria ahead of him (and maybe a couple other) but then again, Longoria has been prone to injury so maybe not.
  11. Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound.
  12. Thanks for the link, not going to comment any further on the topic though
  13. Awesome list. Andrew McCutchen 4th though?
  14. Yeah honestly I don't know why I said that, that was stupid. I just think he's to some extent over-rated in terms of speed on the base-paths. Didn't meant to be a snark, it's just that it seems you're never wrong until you are actually proven wrong.
  15. Ok wait, let me rephrase... I'm not convinced Gose wins every time. Btw - are you a know-it-all in RL too? If so, how does that work out for you?
  16. Let's put it this way... if he's racing Brett Lawrie from home to first, I'm not sure who wins. Go ahead and hammer me for saying that... IDC
