  1. Also you wouldn't have to pay him $8mil/year
  2. AG....saviour http://www.goodmanlivingwell.com/Jesus_My_Savior_by_Chiu_136-22279.jpg
  3. Our bullpen is already lights out bro! And who needs Cespedes when we have Melky clogging up the bases.
  4. JJ has been pretty unlucky this season, most of his peripherals are good.
  5. Pretty much the first thing I said
  6. I know I know, but I'm just trying to counter the s***** user projections of .270 / .310 / .360.
  7. The result will be the same regardless of who uses the calculator, crack-cocaine or not.
  8. According to equiv calculator (http://mlsplits.drivelinebaseball.com/mlsplits/mlecalc), from his AAA numbers (obviously SSS), his MLB slash projects as: .301 / .345 / .510 Though I did the same with his AA numbers and it was much worse. Let's see what he can do up here when he does get here. I get the impression that people think his ceiling is Reed Johnson, but nobody knows. Bottom line for me is the season is over, he's an upgrade to Melky Cabrera, who is just going to be a waste of time in LF (waiting and waiting for him to become PED Cabrera which can't happen).
  9. 32nd round pick of the Blue Jays in 2011 -Never hit below .313 in the minors -High OBP guy- career .373 -Great speed- career 75 for 100 SB- gets a lot of IF hits because of speed -Really low SO rate -Still young at 24 -Plays OF, apparently has good range- plus 15 assists already this year -Midwest league MVP in 2012 Apparently scouts see him as a 4th OF type of guy... I don't see it but then I'm not a scout? I guess he doesn't have a well defined jaw or hot girlfriend? AA was quoted saying "reports are that he's ready to come if we have a need". I'd like to see him instead of a crippled Melky Cabrera. At the very least please call him up in September! And please for the love of God no more Gose.
  10. Let's time I checked $6 million is a lot of dough... even for the Yankees.
  11. No walks? Are you sure this our Drabek?
  12. Would the Yankees suppress A-Rod's playing time so that he can't collect his HR bonuses [as quickly]? Alex will get $6M each for his 660th, 714th, 755th, 762nd, and 763rd career homers. He's currently at 647.
  13. Incase you're wondering who's skewing it, Pit/PA Bau - 4.22 Kaw - 4.12 JPA - 3.98 DeRosa - 3.93 EE - 3.90 Lawrie - 3.84 Melky - 3.77 Boni - 3.65 Davis - 3.55 Izturis - 3.42 Reyes - 3.42 I think the only shocking one is JPA near the top, but I don't think it's because he's patient, it's because he hacks and fouls a lot. I don't mind Izturis/Reyes having low Pit/PA because they tend to make good contact.
  14. Understatement, Leyland is by far the best manager in the game. Maddon doesn't even come close.
  15. What should decide the home field of the WS? Win-loss record of teams in totally different and totally uneven divisions? What else?
  16. I agree wholeheartily. Also EE is NOT a defensive liability at 1B. No he's not below average.
  17. It's not a big deal man but we appreciate your support!
  18. Sale shouldn't really get it, just because he unfairly got 2 IP and nobody else did
