  1. I don't get this either. It's highly unlikely he gets moved.
  2. Which media outlets think that?
  3. That was an excellent read and he taps into a couple things you've said in the past about their D in that park and flyball pitchers in that park, did you get that from the Dan Szymborski article in July. Thanks for the link. Yes o2, everyone knows how elite their pen is, this article digs deeper than that.
  4. The Royals outscored there opposition 51-11 from the 7th inning on and had 8 come from behind victories, that's impressive. Thanks for the link... I'll check it out.
  5. Heyward and Price's price tag are similar, news to me? Aren't they at a 10 million AAV apart?
  6. yer dumn.
  7. So right after Cola and Valencia was removed from LF, we improved emphatically, lol.
  8. Thanks brosoff!
  9. Yeah, I don't get that. What was our run prevention rank this year? Anyone?
  10. Plenty enough with his D, mate. As others have said, it'd be interesting to see him hitting in a bandbox.
  11. Is that their normal practice, not disclosing executive contracts?
  12. According to Toronto media, Morosi, etc, he was offered 5 yrs 10 million with Toronto.
  13. Hahaha... he just signed on with the Nats for 3 years.
  14. Especially after the shitshow last winter by Ed Rogers, the writing was on the wall for both Beeston and AA, as the Hurl has mentioned in the past, AA wanted Beeston's job and was grooming Tinnish to be GM all along. Once that rug was pulled, the Loria/Beeston and AA circle jerk commenced. It all makes sense. Haha!!
  15. No, why would it be, this is exciting conjecture though!
  16. I thought Hill was interim for the time being, meh, either way, where there's smoke there's fire. It all adds up. Not to mention AA wouldn't be tarnishing his reputation, it's his choice, especially if it's inline with a promotion. Good for him.
  17. Miami's GM Dan Jennings was fired the day AA had his presser, Alex was notified by Bob McCown...*nudge, nudge* *wink, wink*
  18. Yup, Atlanta until he was traded to the Cards last season, both pitcher parks.
  19. They almost hired Mark DeRosa before Mattingly agreed to listen and sign, smells of AA.
  20. He stopped pulling dat ball, and uses the entire field. Walks more, K's way less, just an all round smarter hitter. He's worth every much as he was when he hit bombs, there's still alot of XBH's.
  21. Likely GM for the Jays will be Falvey, Atkins and Tinnish in that order.
