  1. Who is looking to acquire a 1B? I'm still hoping Hosmer lands in San Diego pushing Myers to the OF but if not, I want to move Myers or Bell for an OF.
  2. I will probably make an offer. Check my roster and let me know what narrowly beats the other bid!
  3. Also, I believe someone made an error in the excel sheet -- Spanky has the ATL Jose Ramirez and I have the CLE Jose Ramirez thank you
  4. If any rebuilding team wants to keep Zach Britton in the hopes they can move him for something when he's back in June/July -- I will move him for the best offer.
  5. If anyone needs a young 1b, I'm looking to move Myers or Bell for a comparable OF
  6. If anyone wants a cheap 2B who can still be serviceable next year.. Kinslrr is available.
  7. Haha everyone was that's why no one posted "Wow you dropped Lester??" The second I saw havok made moves yesterday I knew he had a claim in
  8. I wanted to win the Lester sweepstakes but will take Britton as a minor consolation prize.
  9. Z3r0s leaving Albers in could have impact too. Imagine albers comes in and has an implosion to blow ERA
  10. Fml who would have thought Kershaw would throw a turd like that in crunch time. I wanted an elite start to try and steal OBPA and KBB. Now my only shot at winning is an offensive explosion where I sweep all offense. Very unlikely
  11. I really don't know what people were thinking making deals when half the league could have potentially paid more than what they received. I get it in some circumstances where if the playoffs teams lacked young prospects, they couldn't have offered anyway. But others, ridiculous.
  12. I have no dog in this fight either, as I had no intentions of submitting offers for any of the players moved in these deals. I'm just shocked were implementing new rules on the go. That hurts the integrity of such a fine and established framework that's been set for this league. If you want eliminated teams to make deals, take a vote and implement it in the offseason.
  13. Okay, scrap that comment about real sports, and heed all of my other valid points. At the end of the day it doesn't matter whether some people agree with this, or some people dont; because we all agree on one thing. Rules in place cannot be broken. Therefore, this would be a silly precedent to set for the league.
  14. Wait What? Trades are already being processed? I was just going through league transactions and saw Salazar/Lamb added. This is ridiculous.. we have a trade deadline for a reason. You can't just say "Well.. were eliminated so we're going to start discussing and processing trades now". First of all.. this is in no way fair to teams who weren't aware this rule could be broken. I personally wasn't even thinking about trades at this point, as why the hell would I Be? Trades arent legal until the off-season so I know I can continue focusing on my playoff run without worry that deals will be completed. For myself and the other teams who weren't aware of bypassing a rule, we didn't even get the opportunity to jump in on these discussions. Certain eliminated teams are getting the chance to make themselves stronger which is a supreme advantage that was in no way agreed upon. Had I known people would be agreeing to and completing deals, hell, I would have been wheeling and dealing to try and beat people to the punch (despite still having to put time into managing my team for the playoffs). Secondly, allowing an eliminated team to process deals and create roster spots via early trade is where it simply gets absurd. This is a blatant disadvantage to playoff teams who are at a roster crunch as is, and are dropping assets left and right to compete. Suddenly teams are able to make moves to free up additional room to benefit from this? IT IS A TRADE DEADLINE. Can you imagine something like this happening in any sport? Technically you guys shouldn't even be negotiating right now, But if you are going to, whatever -- agree to a deal in principle. To actually go ahead and process deals amidst an incomplete season though; like I said, is ridiculous. We are better than making up rules and loopholes on the spot. We are not the BBDL (just playing BBDL <3)
  15. It's going to be one crazy finish this week. Go hurl go hurl go!
  16. Ervin Santana is still on the block despite my Verlander trade, and I will be moving him by the end of the day. Im looking for a high quality prospect, young player, or hurt player who can help me next year.
  17. I will move De La Rosa and a 4th round MiLB pick for a late 2nd round pick. Holds from the SP spot! That could be the difference for a category in a championship week!
  18. I'm willing to move the following players today: Alex Avila (Contreras is out until mid/late September at the earliest) Ian Kinsler (If you need a 2B I will move him relatively cheap) Victor Martinez/Hunter Pence (Would move dirt cheap) Jorge De La Rosa (SP eligibility so he can get you holds from the SP spot, very valuable for maximizing saves and holds) Ervin Santana Justin Verlander
  19. I need to keep my playoff streak alive. It's in jeopardy right now having to face njh and jaysblue. I blame injuries!
  20. I'll take DJ Peters. Not sure who is up next as I'm on mobile.
  21. What was the post in question that got you banned?
  22. Okay that makes sense. I saw you picking for him and thought you were njh haha
