    Contending is the ultimate goal, but rebuilds can be quite satisfying as well. I haven't had time to see results yet, but promoting Taveras, Singleton, Polanco, Ventura, Paxton, and Montero this year has been quite exciting. Adding Tanaka and hopefully getting Bundy back. Sure hope this works

    and someone trade me a god damn lower pick! clearly no interest in Davidson (can't blame anyone on that), but I'd trade a roster piece for a pick (and drop Davidson)

    I was one pick away from getting them both (Nola went to realmin). I'm not in love with Turner at all... but I can handle him at 22.

    holy s*** did I trade Rodney at the wrong time. That guys on a tear since I traded him to Silvergun. Not that mad as he wasn't making my 20-man, but that's a good buy.

    Nicknames suck these days. I'm all for anyone coming up with more original nicknames than just letters of their names. (A-Rod, K-Rod, EE, etc... not interesting). I'm a +1 for Surf over SRF.

    I am a big Bob Ryan fan, but he had the same type of conversation with Bobcat a few weeks ago and I just don't believe any of these broadcasters when they say 'I understand these new stats, but...". I'll have to listen to this one.
