  1. Did Pillar seem invisible this spring?
  2. I guess we will know if/when somebody signs him.
  3. Maybe they try waive both him and Sierra at the same time hoping one goes through?
  4. I thought Perez was good at least before the injury. We had that mutt that we picked up and never appeared in a game who could have been dfa'd.
  5. The release part shocked me. I would have thought DL.
  6. Okay then if AAs hands weren't tied per se then what was his excuse for the most invisible offseason by a 74 game winner?
  7. Looks like it will be Redmond with Happ at extended spring with RR.
  8. Yeah the Tigers did what they could to help him but Buffalo it is.
  9. They go together. The main point is that being the fifth guy in order to start doesn't make you a fifth starter, a team could have four aces and a number two.
  10. Maybe we need to come up with a new term for this. There is a difference between a number 5 starter and fifth up in the rotation. A team could have 5 number 5 starters. There used to be a definition of each type: - ace - 3 pitches above average control and command. one dominant - 2 - 2 pitches above average control and command and a third average pitch - 3 - 2 pitches average control and a third pitch - 4 - 2 pitches average, one below - 5 - 1 average pitch, 2 below Or something like that.
  11. Well I guess tomorrow will be a big indicator. I guess he will be facing their A squad.
  12. I thought it was just a way of saying the real candidates suck.
  13. Yeah exactly. Golfing days are over, and air hockey I look like a 5 year old.
  14. I started out as a lefty but had a bad accident a few years ago. Lost a couple of inches of bone and 2/3 of the strength.
  15. My left hand doesn't work enough so I have to do things like that all with the right. Kind of annoying.
  16. Yeah but catching is the easier part. Throwing wrong handed is tougher.
  17. ! that's like what Jimmy Key's father did with him. He was completely right handed except for pitching.
  18. Jimy one M screwed things up after Bobby Cox. Cito turned it around. Atmosphere counts.
  19. Cito has two rings.
  20. Hey if Gibbons can get a job then anyone can.
  21. I understood. It was Bucks comment.
  22. It's a good way not to answer the question actually. Probably cause he can't figure out the rotation which is reasonable.
  23. Hey Dave Collins wasn't bad!! He had no arm but he hit into the fewest double plays.
