  1. Delusional. Dont even think AA does latos and phillips for bautista
  2. Its just baffling to me that people would be willing to just throw him into trades like hes a complete write off. Still could have something there
  3. I realize Kyle has been a dissapointment so far in his career but why does everyone want to just give him away. If he could ever get some kind of control hes a very very good pitcher. That is a big if though. Why not just keep him in buffallo and see if he can find some consistency
  4. I think we can expect buehrle to put up around the same numbers as this year. *IF* morrow can ever stay healthy, i think he can be one of the front of the rotation guys we are looking for. I love the idea of peocello for jannsen, as i think hes a potential #3 arm going forward. Anyone interested in signing lincecum?
  5. You can't see bounce backs for dickey and morrow?
  6. Bautista for syndergaard and darnaud
  7. Exactly, im all for trading bautista for the best you can get right now i was just saying that it wouldnt help us immediately.
  8. And i know we have lots of arms in the bullpen that can fill in for them but you know what your getting from janssen. Not a fan of having unproven guys trying to shut games down for us
  9. Because if bautista is getting traded, i doubt its going to be for a young stud that can contribute what bautista does right off the bat. Rasmus can be used to aquire a good sp but when your losing a bat like bautista its gonna hurt. And losing a consistent cl like janssen and an arm like santos can create big holes in the bullpen
  10. Nah bark's a stud, hes not going anywhere especially on that steal of a contract
  11. Just interested to see what he thinks it would take for us to pull the trigger on dealing those guys and making us a better team immediatly
  12. Can you give an example? because unless your getting a stud OF back and acquiring two SP i cant see us better off especially when we are losing our set up man and closer
  13. Hes much better than you give him credit for. Hes an unbelievable defender and had a down year with the bat but 4 years and 50 million i think is a bargain for him
  14. As per Bob Nightendale. Very interesting to hear this. Hes under a very good contract and hasn't AA been a fan of his for a while? Discuss.
  15. Whats he project out to be?
  16. Imagine how different the complexion of the rotation would be if Romero didnt fall off the face of the earth. And off topic a bit but does anyone know much about matt dean?
  17. Plan B- Trade Bautista and Janssen to texas for Profar and Martin Perez. Sign Beltran or Cruz or Choo depending on the budget. I think that AA only trades Jose if a trade offer like this arises where we are getting a stud in Profar and a middle of the rotation arm with Perez
  18. Did AA not say that he wants to improve the defence at 1st base? Lind should not be back.
  19. your ganna fork out 16-18 mil for garza when Halladay can come cheaper and put up as good of numbers? And what prospects do we have that can land us a good pitcher? Unless you want to trade sanchez
  20. i realize that but halladay could quite possibly be the most productive pitcher available
  21. We need pitchers who can pitch, doesnt matter the age.
  22. If Halladay gets his arm strength back up i could see him putting up a low 3 ERA. Haren's last 10 starts he has posted a 2.5 ERA. He has lost velo but i could see him being a solid 5 starter for us. Im not saying the weighted ball will put these guys back into their career norms but I could definitely see it helping them quite a bit. They have struggled because they have lost velocity on their pitches, but if they can get their arm strength back up i think that could be a very good rotation. I would also like to see what they do the rest of the season.
  23. -Sign Halladay (2/22, +11 Mil Option) -Sign Infante (3/21) -Sign Beltran (2/26, +13 Mil Option) -Sign Corey Hart (1/4, +7 Mil Option) -Sign Ruiz (2/14, Options at 8 Mil for 2016, 2017) -Sign Haren (1/5, +7 Mil Option) -Trade Melkey, Lind, Janssen, Izturis, Arencibia -Decline option on JJ -Pick up Derosa's option 1. Reyes (16) 2.Lawrie (500K) 3.Bautista (14) 4.Encarnacion (9) 5.Beltran (13) 6.Rasmus (8) 7.Hart (4) 8.Ruiz (7) 9.Infante (7) 1.Halladay (12) 2.Morrow (8) 3.Buehrle (18) 4.Dickey (12) 5.Haren (5) CL-Delabar (500K) SU-Cecil (2) RP-Santos (3.75) RP-Wagner (350K) RP-McGowan (1.5) RP-Loup (500K) LRP-Happ (5.2) INF-Kawasaki (350K) UTIL-Derosa (750K) OF-Pillar (500K) C-Thole (1.25) Payroll: $149.3 Million In my eyes, that is a legit contending team in the AL east. It just all depends on if AA can pry open Rogers wallets and squeeze a little bit more money out of them. I think that is a faptacular team.
  24. The years almost over, he would have to pitch like cy young to turn this around
  25. That could be the case but since buehrles bad start he has been pretty good. Dickey has shown that he cant pitch at the dome
