    Gibbers just said that the innings limit for Sanchez is 130 That rules out Sanchez going the Stroman route in starting in the bullpen and then going back to the rotation. Looks like finding a SP is still a possibility

    Cliff Lee came off the DL a few days ago and pitched like s***. Apparently no pitch was above 90 mph

    If only Delaballs pitched like he pitched last year... Though he had a pretty good outing last time out, striking out 4/6 batters faced. But in his previous appearance to that he still walked 2 guys

    I'd give him the benefit of the doubt, but google indicates that in August 2012 they were apart by at least 1 WAR. Maybe before then that they were even or Barney was ahead. Either way, I find it funny how quickly you have come to the defense of WAR when that (and many other examples) show that it is still flawed in some glaring ways. edit: Alright I looked at an article and he may have got his names mixed up. Barney tied war with Votto and Posey.     If Pompey turns out to be even an average MLB-er I think this city will go bonkers over him. I mean look at how crazy they are over Lawrie, and he hasn't even had one full season and so far he's been a defensive specialist with the potential to have a premium bat

    We've been extremely fortunate to find not one, but two MVP-quality players by sheer luck and at ridiculous cheap contracts. It's an extreme shame that AA has failed to capitalize on that, just like how Ricciardi failed to capitalize on the best pitcher in baseball in the previous decade.
