  1. the pitching line now shows 2 hits but those should've been outs.
  2. I know Hendriks is Australian, but all this time I didn't know he had the accent. Feels wierd. He should be playing cricket.
  3. He's going to get injured chasing a foul out into the stands. He'll look at all the space at the O.Co and run it out hard. .000/.000/.000 pre ASG
  4. f***ing Red Sox. Never imagined I'd hate them more than the Yankees.
  5. he finally got a hit, but it was a groundball single. I think he got a walk too.
  6. Toronto was ranked 9th, with Miller park ranked at 15. http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/parkfactor/_/year/2014
  7. I didnt know 590 had a feed. I'm listening to the Rays one. They're penning Pompey as the 2 hitter
  8. Not really. Ppl who have used gameday in ST before know that it's not accurate. The way gameday accepts user inputs probably only allows 4 'ball' inputs to allow a walk. The guy entering the information probably can't input a 'walk' any other way. Programming sux.
  9. Gindl is hot, double off wall Smoak called strike, swinging strike, single to RF
  10. Buehrle grounder bloop pop up assdribble single up the middle Longoria K's swinging
  11. orgfiller K's swinging Pompey pop up Donaldson called K
  12. Castro just got 2 K's in 1 hitless inning. 1 called 1 swinging. put him in the BP brah
  13. Guys, it's possible Stroman can be pitching in September. __ http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/05/sports/baseball/positive-signs-for-mariano-riveras-return-from-torn-acl.html?_r=0 The Brewers right-hander Yovani Gallardo was 22 when he tore his right A.C.L. covering first base on May 1, 2008. Gallardo said he was told he would miss the rest of the season. Yet with Milwaukee pushing for the playoffs, he returned that Sept. 25, and started Game 1 of the National League division series. He said he did not do extra work beyond his regular rehabilitation. “I kind of surprised myself, that I was able to return and make starts,” Gallardo said. “The training staff did a great job. I don’t think I had enough energy to double up on everything; the rehab is really tough. You’ve just got to go get it done.” __ Gallardo tore his May 1st. That's a month into the season and 2 months later than Stroman's. Stroman could conceivably come back earlier than September.
  14. mark zwolinski ‏@markzwol ·9 mins9 minutes ago Sanchez said he wasn't sure stroman called off Donaldson on bunt drill - they collided and Stro "fell to the floor and immediately" god dam Donaldson
  15. like this one? http://m.mlb.com/video/?content_id=36065833&c_id=mlb&topic_id=vtp_outstandings
  16. Norris devastated by Stroman news: "I'll shed a tear for him" #bluejays Not even a prayer?!
  17. TJS is not a career ender anymore. A torn rotator cuff, however, is a killer. A knee is equally bad too, but more of a concern for big pitchers, like Sabathia.
  18. Jeff Sullivan is pissed off right now
  19. Sanchez & Norris in rotation Castro/Mexican in BP. Remove Sanchez a month in and replace with Santana.
  20. I think you guys are misinterpretating bunting drill. Stroman tore his knee fielding a bunt, not bunting. AA explained the situation: The bunt was headed to the 3B. Donaldson headed over, but Stroman called him off. He planted his foot, then buckled over.
  21. AA will be on the radio shortly, tune in
  22. Norris and Sanchez in rotation. Castro/Mexican in BP
