Tulo could ask for a trade this week

He wants to play for a winner, so I doubt the Jays are an appropriate mix (it's an entirely different story whether or not we'd want him)
Yeah I expected regression from CC and a poor showing from their offense.
But their pitching has provided enough for them so far and they have that elite BP.
From what I've seen from him, he has taken so many terrible swings but he's also had a pretty good approach at laying off of junk pitches.
and his bat speed is pretty bad.
So he has the bat speed of Arencibia and the ugly swing of Pillar. He has the patience of a Devon Travis (April version)
But of course, the big deal for me is that he has the defense that makes Melky a Gold Glover.
Anyone know if we can send him down without exposing to waivers?
hmm, turns out Donaldson and Machado are on good terms enough to talk during BP

Who can we shed from the 25-man for Boyd and Norris?
The only two relievers I can see are Francis and Tepera.
But we need a long-man, unless you consider Hendriks to be the long-man/7th inning guy.
edit: forgot that Norris in the rotation means bumping Estrada to long relief.
when you have a curve like this, you're better than Sanchez and Syndergaard.

Isn't it still too early to consider Noah as elite? He only has one real good pitch, the fastball. His off speed stuff is very inconsistent.
It's like calling Sanchez elite.
