    If I were Cherington, I would not trade Bucholz within the division. And if you are the Jays, you'd have to expect a premium. The guy is a stud this year, with two more years of control. You'd have to ask for minimum three stud prospects

    Well I was comparing Kelly mostly with Hutchison. As for Dickey, I feel pretty much just like how we approached BJ Ryan. A good couple of years, then suddenly lost it and was surprisingly (to me, at least) DFA'd. Dickey could be the same, but I think there will be an NL team that will claim him and we may work something out.

    AA doesn't have the balls like Cherington did when he sent down underperforming Craig and Kelly.

    Do you guys think its possible that AA will demote Hutch and/or put Dickey on waivers? As soon as he makes a deal?

    Uh what? How on earth can you ignore a babip over .400? The guy is NOT this good. Using year to date stats is a poor way to look at this. In April we pretty much got the Pillar we got as expected as a hitter. In May we got the worst of Pillar, but he had a pretty poor babip in the low 200s. His June is the complete opposite of the spectrum.

    He is overperforming offensively. I mentioned a few days ago his babip for the month of June is over .400. He's not this good.

    It wasn't like the errors came on outs. He gave up a ton of hits that inning.

    Zaun is trying to rationalize that all runs in losses are worthless, as are all the extra runs in a win (except for 1 more than the opposing team) That's like saying it's totally fine having a 20-10 pitcher with a 6:00 ERA.

    Well is it confirmed that Doubront will be starting? It's possible that Tepera could be sent down again and they bring up Norris just before his start. Doubront can act as a long-man over the next few days.

    .400 BABIP in June for Pillar. Just saying. He's going to average around .320, so he has enough time to come crashing down as a hitter. Still doing better than expected, though.
