    so can someone explain the big difference in offensive war? Is it simply that Donaldson is producing a higher quantity of quality hits? more RBI? Machado seems to be a much better overall offensive threat, considering the speed.

    Bautista will probably net a contract that exceeds Beltran. Beltran signed a 45/3 deal. If I were Bautista I'd ask for 100/5.

    I'm probably an idiot but I'm a bit worried about Donaldson going forward. He's had an OK June with a rising K rate. Obviously still an above average player for his position. And if you watch his at bats he's really swinging at a lot more junk pitches and missing them. Again, I'm probably an idiot and I expect too much for our AL MVP.
