    Well I don't think he should steal when the foursome will be coming up. I think Revere would be a good guy to have ahead of Pillar/Goins. That way you can do hit and runs and steal bases and try and set up a bigger inning. Having him hit 9th isn't going to be effective from the looks of it.

    Well what position is he going to play? I always thought of him as a 1B but he's been showing up in RF this season. Not sure how he is defensively. Someone that big shouldn't be good.

    Martin is hitting like .170 since late July. He himself admitted he was banged up after catching the knuckleballer squarely in the palm rather than the glove. He outright admitted he wants Thole up here. If you want Martin to be utterly useless when it counts (September/Post season), then sure, yeah, lets continue playing Martin the rest of the way with 0 rest to heal.

    I'm not sure how you can consider it a waste. Doesn't hurt to have closer types pitching in the 7th. The Royals for example have 3-4 relievers that are closer material.

    I don't know man. If we had 1 off day in a week, sure, but 3 days off in 8 days would mess up the rotation.
