    It is stupid to not sign a QO. He's not going to get less than what he will get with a QO, which would be around <$15m. I'm sure he will get a 3-4 year contract for $12m each at least

    Yeah I bought that before the start of the playoffs and had to return it, cause theres no way I would be able to wear that routinely enough to get my money's worth + not look wierd. It's still nice, I think. But something you can only wear once every few weeks.

    Bitch all you want about our pitching, but our offense has been a massive disappointment in the playoffs so far.

    The problem is, it will be abused considerably. There is nothing stopping a player faking a personal issue just so that he team can sneak in roster changes.

    I don't have a problem with it honestly, it just makes the shelling he received even more hilarious. Hopefully next year someone comes up with a white towel and a big Derek Holland face and makes sure he sees it being rubbed on the fan's ass

    Alright fine Loup was unavailable. But this makes Mark Lowe's use in game 3 even more inexcusable.

    It's kind of odd really. His situation was OK enough to come back for the first few games of the ALCS, but has the situation deteriorated so much that he is not available for game 4 and 5?. Or is he giving up because he knows he sucks and we are unlikely to comeback that he is calling it quits.

    I bought the tickets knowing full well that I would not be able to go to all, let alone afford the whole trip. I didn't like my chances with the general public days anyways.

    Bautista is incredibly whiny, so I do agree with Holland. If Bautista were on a different team I'm sure we'd all hate him. But I have no problem with the bat flip because it was the best time for a bat flip. Elimination game? Go ahead HR? Clutch HR given the circumstances? So much butthurt. As Price said, "IF you don't like it, pitch better"

    Some fans are pessimistic, others optimistic, and then there are realists like me. Is it possible for the Jays to win three straight with our three best starting pitchers? Sure. But we're also facing a solid team that will bring out their top pitchers as well, along with an offense that plays great fundamentals and provides solid defense with a rock solid bullpen. Things aren't looking great for the Jays - the odds are not in our favor. So if I had to bet, we would be lose once in the next 3 games, and I don't fault for people not wanting to watch the game considering the position we are in. No one wants to shell a ton of money to watch KC clinch on our turf. And don't act like we have a ton of bandwagon fans - the same trend would show anywhere else. I have my expectations set low anyway so that I don't crash and burn on the way down.

    I'm sorry that I don't want to go to a game where we are down 3 games to 1, in the middle of the week at 4:00. If I had to choose which game I don't want to go, it'd be this one. How many games have you been to?
